The car is stripped on the back, so shouldn't have any chance of rubbing. New wheels are 16x7 et25. 195/40/16. (no et20 like first thought).
So you guys are basically saying, that they're not going to be ideal, but can still be used?
Does anyone know of places I can go to actually look at wheels, i'm not talking motormania or halfords but proper store that all they really do?
North essex preferable but suffolk or anywhere essex or kent
I've got a 9100, best bit of audio type kit i've bought for a car ever! skinz has it right, just remember the mute cable, if fitted correct it should say (Speech) on the display at the top of the dash.
I've just ordered a set of wheels and tyres. The wheels have an offset of 20. Just checking, but is this the same as have 15mm spacers all around, or is it going to cause problems? (they are 16x7)
Cheers mick, turns out it's the front o/s abs ring. Doesn't seem like theres damage to much else but couldn't get the abs sensor out to have a look. It looks like it's pressed on the drive shaft, do you know if I can get a new abs ring or will it be a new shaft?
i was driving along dual carriage way when there was a bang (something falling off the car), as this happened the above 3 lights came on but there was no change in the braking.
I turned the engine off and on to see if it cleared the lights, which it did finally, then on braking it makes a weird...
I had fitted a miltek manifold back exhaust with de cat and recently re fitted the cat to the beautiful quiet exhaust it once was lol
other than the sound, based on a standard (non mapped) 182 is there really any benefit of having a de cat fitted?
all i'm trying to do is accommodate the difference in offset. I've got wheels which are a et42. so simple wheel spacers seem ok. I'm really not sure how much goes in or are longer bolts needed at all?
