Ha, must be bored if you're talking about washing and polishing cars. Lol
I'll get some pics up soon. Had to chop the runners, flange and bosses off the other one. Made some new runners and got another flange water jet cut and I'll reuse the bosses. I've increased the diameter of the runners...
Your ears burning when I was talking about about welding?
You probably will have the rs finished before this. I'll need to slow you down with some more welding! :rasp:
Not looked at this for a bit so sorry for the late reply. :o
Been doing some odds and ends like the inlet manifold and front brakes. Got the inlet manifold all welded up but wasn't happy with it so had to do some chopping to modify it. Should be good once welded up second time round. Brakes are...
IMO, a 3mm bit of plate sticking out about 200mm from any support structure passing scrutineering is very surprising. There is no support which is allowing flex which over time will either bend or break the welds. Either way, it is not going to end well on track. Under hard acceleration and...
Stopped over the winter as I couldn't be ar5ed getting soaked working on the drive. Will start again soon.
Been making some parts and pushing on with the inlet manifold and brakes. Things I can do in the garage.

Were you at high revs at all when it started knocking? I had this thing on rollers and a track day so am surprised it has spun a shell after a such a short time. Do you have an oil pressure gauge?
Is the crank buggered? What are you going for engine wise now?
I borrowed a gasless MIG which worked well to tack things together without having to worry about gas bottles. Did the job before taking it to be TIG'd.
Really like the look of this but agree the welshnamed one that the intake hose will create a very turbulent flow which wont help things.
Good to use before the filter if oversized as a CAF but not after the filter sized to the TB.
