yozza sport sells Schrick .. they rate them very highly..
If you want the C&B's , i have an adress for you ; guy named Mauro who will handle delivery etc. VERY GOOD , excellent contact with him ! (he is Italy main dealer)
I rate the C&B 's the most because i have them, and Henk from...
I'm wanting to do something like this (well , let it BE done!) Looks as new, reallllly nice
Actually i never liked this color but looking at it this way like you got yours, it's very very nice
nope.. but i DO know that the 182 has the bigger bearings, compared to the 172
Hub is bigger (also bearing) + hub sits out further about 5mm hence why the 182 has the 48,5 offset , compared to the regular 172
You need the dimensions of the 172 ?
He's alway very busy etc. but he should make it a daily task to do email-customer-contact ...
Actually you should never be too busy for paying customers
Yep, your filterset-up is not doing you good because it's receiving hot air form the radiator. But i also think this filterhouse will not let you connect a CAF to it by the looks of the construction of it/the front.
Really good gains are made with very cheap options ; a 172 phase 1 airbox...
when buying it on monday , the guy saying "it will all be okay in a couple of months" MAY BE trying to talk himself out of a warranty issue ??
Get another opnion from a specialist or something ; do;nt know if you have warranty on the buy you did ?
Acoustic valve ; meaning something to do with sound/noise ...
It''s just there to reduce the decibels produced.
Remove the lot, when you do this you'll find a 6mm rubber tube which i blocked with a screw to stop the suction (valve is activated by this) and disconnect the leads (plug). Tape...
^^ i'm just saying that when 145 at the wheels is 183 at the fly , then my 173 wheelpower must have twohundred + a lot at the fly !?
naahhh , do'nt think so
^^ Yeh i have seen a pic of one of the mounts and it does NOT look up to the job . Rubbers being smaller/tiny-er ; in general not looking as stirdy as the RS mounts.
I've given up the search for cheaper/better mounts ; In future i will just bend over + get the OEM RS mounts whenever the...
^^ Well Janusz, good luck !
By the way Janusz was also an old Dutch name here, maybe taken from the Polish names !? (Janes, Janus) We have a very polular (Folk)music-singer , his name is Janes or Janus..
Thanks Toxic (what's your real name?) ;
Get the thing mapped AFTER doing this Mod !! (the filterhousing is a Espace V6 model from year '98, maybe you have got this already ?)
It's hot !
Do'nt ruin the little panel like i did , i had to improvise and make a new panel (sits really...
it's a safe-guard for the fuel line going across in that place. Notice the black pice of piping ? That's the fuel line. The big metal block removed is there to ensure that when in a crash , you do'nt burn /explode to death when this line is severed/busted.
makes the mod sound a bit nutty...
Just did two other modifications. :) Mentioned in another thread also btw :o
Wanted an aftermarket intake-elbow for a while so i got that ; also went for the modification MarkCup did ; have a look :
Very nice mod, extremely pleased with the results , being ; no more flatspots...
Touching 190 ??? Henk, i think you are being very moderate :nono: We touched 174 hp at the wheels ?
In a couple of weeks i want to maybe attend the next RR organised by the Dutch forum and we'll see if you will still be moderate about the 200+ my car is making ;)
No, seriously...
just had a test-run ; this is really the best setup for soooo little money ! I doubt a Maxogen will do better actually. (maybe with the same caf setup)
Before, when having the Caf inside the bay pointed towards below/headlight, it was good enough, but noticed flat spots sometimes.
Now...
Update ! I copied your mod, it's done :)
Only down thing was that i broke off that little panel , impatient because i could'nt remove the grill
How the hell do you remove the grill !? Is the grill only the left black piece (vent holes , what's in your picture above) or are we...
^^ thanks Quade :)
I have had a look at last daylight today, i could see /feel the panel can come loose (do'nt have to remove complete front grill i think..). Now to see how to remove the fuel rail guard ..
I already had the V6 box, only it was sucking air with a very short caf from behind...
