^^ no just the front ; only one Caf -connection on the filterhousing.. (V6 box)
With the phase 1 box you could run two cafs, routing one towards the front and one down below
Not sure Holland, but Henk Fastchip mapped this setup (cams also) at around 200 without the caf at the grill, MIGHT have gaine another HP ? It feels like the best setup, getting tha air direct from the front. By the way , i copied MarkCup's mod :o REALLY liking it.
my setup has been mapped to suit the v6 airbox; seriously doubt a maxogen will come close :)

Ben, you are talking about ONLY 12 sensors now; How f**king many am I running on my oem set-up ? Worrying ... (sensors being the weak-Achilles heel of the car)
What Fred is sayin ( i think) is that the V6 rack has a turning radius that's really s**t , Very big turning circle , so i'm guessing no good for your rally needs ..
You should be looking at one from a Clio Ragnotti , i think in the Group N rally class they use the oem rack of this type of...
I have notice this with mine too, i was having to brake at say 70mph and the car started searching/swerving to the left /right.
Now this ; last time when my car was on the bridge i asked the mechanic if he encountered anything that needed replacing/servicing in the ball joint/trackrod ends...
yep they do look nice ! But i'm really wanting to know if you're not changing the wheel-radius by a little when riding the 50 height ?
Anyone experienced a difference in speedometer ?
Also pics would be great to compare ; i know some of you have got the 195's which i do'nt think look too...
Am getting some 15inch 7J Speedlines because the excuse is that my front tyres on the Turinis are on the rebound and will need changing soon :D:D , might as well get some wheels then he !?
I've noticed that lots of you on Speedlines ride the 205-50-15 tyresize. Is'nt this 50 a little too...
You should be able to fit my jc5 129 (172 cup spec) because of the same speedometer setup ? do'nt know about the ABS
ABS... do you really need it !? naah
Good to get some piece of mind here.. thought the next $$$ spending was around the corner for f**ks sake, budget has gone down the drain .
In my line of work (i'm a docker ; containercrane operator) the credit crunch has taken its tole, work has been cut by 30% .. so have my wages/earnings. No...
Andy i hope you're right. I have just been reading a lot of negative thing about the RS gearboxes, BUT i do really watch gearchanges, easy on first gear , easy on clutch etc. etc. , just time the right moments to let her go .
It just seems that since the cams came in and i'm making pretty...
^^ yep , mine really has the 129. I have a readout from Renault using my VIN numbers, along with the service history these specs came out . JC5 , 129
Harry are you saying i have an old type gearbox ? The less stronger one ?
^^ nice one , this i wanted to hear. I'm going to start looking for a Phase 1 box for very cheap if possible and get it reconned. For future purposes. Just went out on an evening thrash and the box is coping but it's not going to last very long anymore i think. Especially when driving with...
once someone buys 'em , they'll never sell ! ;) You will have to look VERY hard to obtain second hand Schricks / C&B's
Maybe Fred (used to part own Yozzasport me thinks) can help you
Where i got them from , the price listed was 724(euro) VAT excluded. I got a 10 % discount though from...
My cup has a JC5 , number 129 box. When the box is showing weaknesses (i'm starting to get the idea the box wo'nt take much more for long) ,i'm really thinking about a phase 1 gearbox , due to the longer gear ratios.
This because i've done some weightsaving on the cup and it's quite quick so...
^^ 100% sure it's there for environmental issues ; noise
Look at cup-racers ; (or any fast go-car) the bigger the Cafs , the better. Valve is first thing thrown in the bin. Actually , when buying a genuine cup-racer (from Dieppe) it is'nt even there..
When going the tuning-route , you'll...
