Liking the MarkCup-mod :) nice job
I searched around for this thread ; i saw Mark's thread also, and i'm wondering what needs to be "cut" in order to get the 102mm feed down there ?
Also, after making an opening in the grill at that spot, are'nt you afraid of water/damp reaching the...
When i went for the RR session to map/suit my cams i had on the v6 box. AFTER i have tried the phase 1 box , and i can say it did'nt work as good for mine at that point. Probably because the car was mapped with the v6 box.
All i want to say is that when the car is mapped to suit ; do'nt...
I do'nt think anybody knows the V-max brand you're talking about ..
Eibach maybe ? Why do'nt you order off maybe this site ;

Only postage/sending to pay .. Hope you speak a bit of German; or know someone who does ?
^^ good choice :) I LOVE my PE2's , soon i'll have to get some new ones after 8K of fun driving.. I think they held out quite long
I think i'll stick to the Michelin though
I'm not sure, Think bumper needs to be removed ? Fred (Yozza) knows, pm him he will tell you !
ps; do check what i'm talking about, it will scare you how dangerous the design of this is when lowering / widening track
Maybe good to ask them to alter your front bumper-brackets. When you feel along the wheelarch you'll feel them sticking out. This is one point where i know i'll get scrubbing..
I worst case they could take out a front tyre
rushing it into gears MIGHT eventually been bad.. It's like the synchros cannot keep up with your gearchanging so you kind of "clunk" it into gear
Without the pin is best; it will also been a nicer feeling stick, feels solid
(this one is rated best ...
PICS ASAP ;):):) Lowered a bit too ?
I'm planning on going 7mm/8mm further out too ! The Seer on here has already done it but no pics of his car :(
I bet they recommended 195 tyres ? (205 WOULD give scrubbage ?)
Very interested here !!
The pin shortens the shift even more and all the quick/short shifting gears will be stressfull on the box , maybe clutch aswell ? They do'nt like to be rushed into gears these JC-5 gearboxes
yes i've been told you do'nt need the pin. Use your own
I'm wanting one too, contacted them and they said better not to use the pin, would be too hard on synchro's

Mike help me out here :) Does the 172 Cup also have the AUX- SET or is it just the belt that needs replacing ? (no aircon etc.?)
My car had the cambeltkit and just the aux belt ; it squeeks on cold start (slips a tad bit) but i've noticed that the "whining" the engine always had is still...
How come my regular Renault specialist who has a big knowledge of the Renault sports, RS + V6 +the like , tells me about the set ? Actually asking me if the SET was done on the car ?
People on here who are also known for repairing/tuning the cups were also talking about a set ?
I will take...
Actually i think the flat spot will be more pronounced when removing the Manifold-cat
I have heard Henk speaking about the 2500 flatspot on the 197 , not much to be done bout it.
Only when running ITB's or in the like it will be good to remove the cat so it can be mapped for max- in + max-...
they would'nt if they were allowed to drive without mate.. Even the racers (Cup) have emissions to take in account. As for the silencers, same story. We have a track in Zandvoort where they have a certain amount of Decibel (very little) that's allowed. Even an open style airfilter could be...
i almost wanted to start another thread because of what happened to me this afternoon.
Went to the officials, the Renault Dealer, to talk about my "whining + squeeling" . Told them only the aux BELT was done with Cambelt change by a specialist .
I said the Auxbelt-SET would have been a lot...
yep they're probably good :)
So is Fastchip and you know it
He made mine so mean  + a LOT of others
@ Dave ; DIY , yep... but do'nt forget Henk is at the ready for support
