worth mentioning ? ; i have a V6 airbox with a 100mm caf direct to the outside , inlets and cams
i have been running the iTG for so long , it's got quite dirty...
it does have some movement in them , this is okay . the swarf may be telling the mount is on its way out.
When i changed mine for new ones the engine could still be moved by hand lets say 1cm in each direction.
You'll know when mounts need changing when the ride worsens ; more play in the...
^^ Idle is pefect now, but before the map it was terrible to drive because i needed to give throttle at the stoplights (traffic) to keep it going. Henk set it at around 1100.
Low revs absolutely no issue.
It's perfectly fine for daily driving, it runs like a factory car :)
I have Colombo & Bariani cams, nasty wild , and running very nicely on the stock ecu. Idle problem was there but solved by turning it up a little . Henk Fastchip made them run cherry :)
they were for sale here a couple of months ago for VERY cheap , 350 euros for a SET :eek: Seem to all have been sold out ofcourse. These people sold a truckload (or 2) full for this price
i think you were on the verge of learning the hard way, or it may still be the case :rolleyes: These engines take a lot of abuse; running low oil is not one of the abuses it will take
trie a wheel with different offset !? (same effect ?) for example, standard was ET 45 , get a wheel with ET 30

Big Burp , i read some more of your thread (you might have guessed) and know which Toe-in on the front you are running now. Close to neutral as Renault themselves advise ;)

The people at Renault did'nt want to deliver me my rod ends untill i told them which rack i have, three different brands going round. Dive under the car and the sticker on the rack will be right there visible..
do'nt know about the rings, but the guys above explained already .
My car was at 110 thousand km when the cams were put in and it's fine. It's great actually :) These F4R engines are strong
^^ ready to test. ok this gives an idea that it will be long before selling point has been reached. But that's okay, at least the thing is still a go ! :)
