it does have some movement in them , this is okay . the swarf may be telling the mount is on its way out. When i changed mine for new ones the engine could still be moved by hand lets say 1cm in each direction. You'll know when mounts need changing when the ride worsens ; more play in the...

^^ Idle is pefect now, but before the map it was terrible to drive because i needed to give throttle at the stoplights (traffic) to keep it going. Henk set it at around 1100. Low revs absolutely no issue. It's perfectly fine for daily driving, it runs like a factory car :)

I have Colombo & Bariani cams, nasty wild , and running very nicely on the stock ecu. Idle problem was there but solved by turning it up a little . Henk Fastchip made them run cherry :)

many of the OEM inlets are badly cast , not good for flow. The little edges are machined away "matching" them to the rest of the ports , in short.

Yeah mine was also SMI The people at Renault did'nt want to deliver me my rod ends untill i told them which rack i have, three different brands going round. Dive under the car and the sticker on the rack will be right there visible..

do'nt know about the rings, but the guys above explained already . My car was at 110 thousand km when the cams were put in and it's fine. It's great actually :) These F4R engines are strong
