you will need to remove the cross member, its only bolted in (2 bolts either side) then pull the top of the rad forward to get some plyers on the bottom jubilee clip, pop it off and drain the coolant.
Been reading alot of threads latelty regarding supercharger and turbo kits for 1*2's and its been mentioned about retaining the standard ECU instead of going OMEX etc. Could the principle be used for ITB's?

Normaly locks when you reach 10mph or something... For some strange reason it now locks circa 2 mins after setting off!? at any speed...
Anyone else had this
Will I need to replace the sill switch once the passanger seat air bag has been deployed. I have a new computer but will the switch be locked closed after impact meaning as soon as I plug in the computer the air bag will go off again?!

Yes it will make more mess but would you rather smash up £600 bumper or a £200 bumper. It will look identical to the standard 172 bumper and utilize the original fixing points. It will also come with the black plastic stickers on the sides of the grill like the original too.
Let me get one...
Just a quick one but as we all know a new front bumper from Renault is circa £600. I have the option of having OEM quality GRP items made, utilising the same mounting points etc.
The only reason Im mentioning this is because I have wrecked mine with the amount of wildlife that has jumped out...
6 months ago when I was looking for a Trophy you could pick one up circa 6500 for a lowish milage example... they all seem to be over 7k now!?
whats the score!
Same thing can be said for 147 GTA's they are all around 7500/8k now when they used to be 6500/7k

Does anyone know any other cars that use the 172 radiator? I doubt the 172 has a rad specificly designed for it!
Pics to...
there was no curb stone, it was like driving from tarmac onto grass, there were no agressive bangs when it happened, none that made me think, s**te theres my wheels bent!
sorry I should have expanded on my reply. you will need to swap the brake pipes etc from the cup to the ph1 beam, brakes are the same just with ABS sensors and rings on the disks.
