Yeah don't go crazy but drop a bit on till it fills the threads ! Be careful not to over tighten as it can cause them to snap or stretch become thin and keep coming undone (highly unlikely as they normally snap lol )

pull the hole open and look see if there is a cord (metal wire) showing through , they normally have pretty good sidewalls! if no cords pass and advise !

If you mean Brake caliper carrier, ( i assume ) id always recommend the proper torque setting and some lock tight on the treads just in case !

Agreed with spray shack plus you dont have to declare the colour change on your insurance mate or log book!!

Yeah i always tend to use subframe bolts works a treat ! and its prob you being paranoid ! unless its come through the floor or bent the floor don't worry!
