wont be able to see now the bearing has been fitted does sound like its been fitted wrong.
normally the new bearing come with a plastic removable cover to say what way round to fit it.
if theres play you will be able to feel it without removing the caliper. the bearings are sealed so you cant re grease them also if they where needle bearings soon as they are noisy they are passed re greaseing.
have you checked the rear brakes is the piston returning? is the handbrake arms returning?
drive down the road with the hand brake on a few clicks if the travel is reduced will indicate a fault with the rears.

rear bearings are sealed roller bearings so cant take them apart like the older needle bearings to check the races.
fronts you wont hear by driving it with the wheels off the floor or spinning up by hand.
have you span the rear wheels up and listened to them? also hold the coil spring can sometimes feel the ruffness through the spring when you spin the wheel.
if you drive down the road normally you can hear...
so the first few times you turned the key to start nothing happened just dash light up but engine didnt turn over?
did you lock and unlock the car via the key fob before trying to start it? could of been the immobiliser.
would give it a few days to settle if it still causes a problem could...
luke come over today. i read the codes and cleared them then they came back up after rechecking. didnt have any kit with me to check anything. did say to luke to check the injector plug and wiring and if he gets stuck to come over my unit and id have a better look.
do the s/s tow eyes fit in the rear one ok and clear the bumper?
dont have an original to use and need to fit a tow eye in the rear to move the car.
