£35 I paid from adam Renault Wolverhampton on here. Never been to my local dealer for parts I've always got them from Adam and they're here the next day anyway
he test drives them, took me out in it after doing it all and you could instantly feel the difference... i drove it back to the workshop then and was happy with the work. My Nearside tyre looks like it's down about 5k miles when it's only done 400-500 miles.
had it done down avia auto's can't recommend them enough, awesome people and they know there stuff. Car feels so much better now, turns in a lot sharper handles as it should as well.
£204 plus delivery
gasket is £18
i was looking for a while but couldn't find one so had to settle for a second hand one in the end, f**k paying all that for a new one.
a quick search and so far aviva auto shop in bridgend seems the best place to take it near me
there's only two hunter alignment in wales? although i wont be taking mine to my local kwik fit but i thought they all had one?
aviva auto shop seems to get good reviews so i may give them a try i think
Never had this done before but mine desperately needs it's tracking done so i might as well get it done properly... What should i ask for in terms of how much camber ect?
cheers mate, mine was full of silicone on the metal mesh bit where someone used a crazy amount of silicone on the sump instead of using the oem gasket. I've cleared it out now all i need to do now is find a new sump!
what size torx bit holds this on, there's two of them i think. Mines covered in silicone so need to remove it and clear it out or maybe replace it. No idea how it hasn't caused and further damage.
cheers mate, sump arrived the other day much better condition than the one i have on at the moment... i do have some m7 25mm that i bought not so long ago so i'll give them a try.
i guess i wont be buying them from Renault then at that price!
i've yet to get the sump off but so far i've got 19 bolts out and every single one of them covered in silicone and done up stupidly tight (felt like the heads were going to shear).
cheers both.
what size are the bolts that hold the sump on? there's 21 of them i think. I don't fancy reusing mine, 2 of them have rounded off so going to need to cut the head off them on monday. I take it i don't use half a ton of silicone like someone else has on mine just the oem gasket?
after a new pressure washer as my karcher has packed in, so far http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1577941.htm#pdpFullProductInformation this is the one i'm going with but just wanted to see if anyones got one of these and if they're any good or not?
genuine question here, why wouldn't you take a standard clio on track? i've always been under the impression that's it all about having fun and not the lap times, maybe i'm wrong as i've never done a track day.
Back OT, it's 50/50 by me. Some think it's just a standard 1.2 and some know exactly...
i got rs3 on my cup and the grip is amazing in the wet, pretty good in the dry but then when we have a rare bit of sun then they don't hold up to good.
gave the car a clean just then with some muc off ubershine shampoo everything was fine but then i looked at our other car and there's all white dots over it, the only thing i can think of is that when rinsing mine it must of splashed on the other car and with it being in the sun the shampoo has...
both cars covered in tree sap and brake dust, jetwash has packed in this week as well and i have next to no money so i'm on a tight budget.
all i want to do is give it a quick wash to get the tree sap and brake dust off, would this lot do the trick...
