As above guys, heading to the states on tuesday for 7 weeks but dont fancy getting hit with huge bills when I come back. Its unlocked and jailbroken so was thinking of getting a cheap US sim out there but not sure. If I don't im turning off my edge / gprs and voicemail, so that should be me...

Yeah pretty sure it is Fred, just getting it to slide in seems to be the issue. I'm thinking of fitting the housing and clutch into the gearbox first just enough so I can still get in to torque them up but enough that its ready to just slide on

In the middle of trying to get a 172 gearbox back on and the damn thing just will not match up on the splines on the clutch easy. Never had a problem on any other car but this one is being a right pain in the ass. Engine is still in the car, any tips to help them mate together a bit easier...

Loose connection shorting off something then. I was pulling my hair out trying to find it, was fine for years, found it and dried/wd40'd and hasnt happened since!

You most likely have water or something in somewhere mate. Either that or a cross in the loom, I traced mine back to the rear spoiler connection but that was because it blew everytime I pressed the brake pedal. Just gonna be a long and painful looking session
