Nothing more that i can prove not untill i get it done myself, your welcome to have a ride out in it and if you can prove your insured on any car by all means have a drive. As for engine stress, the rs tuner is still going to put added stress out the engine, after all its not how renault...
Picture of my kit. Surely the box around the cone is helping to prevent radiator heat, using the original caf and also there is another caf fed thru a hole in the bottom of the box that leads out to the front bumper. Onlt reason i say this is i certainly didnt feel any loss of power after i...
I dont necessarily believe that i think a decent induction kit can be just as good, people have only been able to test for powr figures on dynos, were there is obviously going to be alot more engine heat as it doesnt have the added cooling of the air or the cold air been rammed down the CAF...
Yeah, i dont see a problem with that. The map is £199, but was on phone with him for a good 20mins and managed to knock him down a little. Not sure what power is will make as every car is diffrent. Not entirely sure what the rs tuner maps offer but he sets up more aggressive valve timing, harder...
hes not on here yet only owned the car for a week or so, told him to sign up though. came mapped when he bought it, the garage im using is a local to me called big fish tuning they mapped the ph1 and quite a few other 1*2's. Think he did a group buy for the north east lads earlier in the year...
i had the rs tuner map installed, was very happy with the results but had a ride the other day in my mates custom mapped ph1 with similar mods. Im now booked in for a map and selling my rs tuner. His car seemed to exploded off the line in comparison to mine, the low down torque seemed much nicer...

alot stiffer than youd think! but still manages to be very comfy aswell, only had a few little gos tho cos its my bros and hes still in the protective stage. it has endless amount of toys to play with, my fav personally been the sequential gear box the gear change is lightening quick
id say the cup slightly its just alot lighter, althought the cupra has a slightly quicker 0 - 60 and is very punchy in low revs doe to the twin charge, which btw sounds gorgeous when you lift off
