just gave the cup engine bay a clean as it was filthy! couldnt believe how much dirt i actually got off, stupidly forgot to take a picture before the clean to compare with but never mind still happy with the result especially the inlet manifold it was basically black
should cost between 30 and 40 quid for a diagnostics check, imo thats what you should do save all this guessing could end up been a £5 sensors and your spending £90ish quid on sparks and coilpack which might not even be the problem taking you back to square 1 90 quid lighter
yeah my engine light came on a few days after i put it on i think its just one of those luck of the draw things some peoples come on some dont.
You dont have to get a remap to fit a decat :)
i got a yozza decat had it on for about 8 months now only real diffence from standard id say was improved throttle response and maybe a tad more pull in top end
id say more likely to be the coil pack than sparks, thats just a guess tho. have you had it put on diagnostics computer yet? if not could be worth it, i had endless random little sensors changed when i owned a 1.2 everytime making the car run like a bag of s**t. my cam timing sensor went before...
did you not think to start it ocasionally during the 2 and a half years? maybe rolled in back a forward abit to, could of saved yourself alot of time and money.
i wouldnt of said it was the clutch personally my old 1.2 used to do that ocasionally, its something electrical without doubt, if that square box with the squiggly line thru it is on id say it was either coil pack, plugs or lambda
the 182 exhaust doesnt sit anywhere near as low as the 172 though, its not body work that catches its the center pipe and silencer, scrapes on pretty much everything inless you approcah is right
think its just a luck of the draw thing with the management light, some people get the light others dont i personally did. but i know others that havent
yeah i believe so, heard a few people say the ktr ones weight a ton! apparently they have a tendency to sag and sit very low. havin said that tho iv never done any research on 182 systems so cant say for certain. I know a lad near me that ditched his k-tech one for a yozza and loves it, said he...
Hi just had my car plugged into comuter due to a misfire and i came back as 'upstream oxygen sensor' is this the lambda sensor or something else? any help would be much appreciated as id rather try fix it myself instead of paying someone else, especially if its only a faulty lambda.
cheers
i cant think of any problems the cup has that no other 1*2's have inless like fred said you cant actually drive, i persoanlly love the rawness keeps you on your toes!
IMO a clio sport is a drivers car, to be driven properly, why would you need criuise contol, head light washers etc? or...
lol bombhead!! seen you and shammy other day near londis. when you gonna take me out for a blast anyway mate? need to see what diffrence the yozza and remap have done
