i think if id have stripped it...would have been mid-late 13s easy...but ..14.0s set a precedence for the others to catch up with....has been surpassed quite a few times now tho lol.
was a good few years ago now like
well was 14.0s, 0-60 5.6
but it wont be seeing the track/strip again.
il leave that to area 51 now....it is quite a bit quicker, altho it hasnt seen the dragstrip...............yet
doesnt sound like wayne at all tbh. hes a very enthusiastic guy. anyone whos actually met him will tell u that. hes always more than willing to talk etc. i turned up at his unit with matt wills last week we ended up staying there chatting for over 2 hours. checking out his race cappacino (sp)...
tbh mate. someone as clued up as yourself should have seen straight thru him.
i did many years ago. but hey....what do i know??
at least youv been man enough to put your hand up and accept the mistake as yours.....most people that get involved with him then go on to pin the blame on...
well it had the rsport ecu on when the engine went. and that was retained with the new engine. after that it went to wayne at chip wizards, and it made quite a difference...hmmmm i see a pattern emerging ;)
not really. he starts from scratch.......completely wiping any map on the car. i suppose it depends on the state of tune. if its good then the results will be better. like chris' cup, and mine. engine built right to start with so best results gained.
im sure he does have his 'off'...
depends whats been done tbh
mine b4 and after his mapping.

completely diff drive after and much much better.
chip wizards tbh.. he designed the dta ecu many moons ago. doesnt advertise, doesnt need to.
15 overall class champioinships last year...the boy knows his stuff.
as above...chip wizards is THE place to go for a decent map. end of really. hes not a salesman, he doesnt advertise, he doesnt big himself up............he doesnt need to. his reputation is all word of mouth and very very well deserved
wayne is second to none for mapping imho.
most of the 'tuners' will give you reasons not to go there, but they are just after your business.
i have insisted that KFS's car goes there for a decent mapping session. i have no doubt at all that it will be a much much nicer car to drive, and...
that car driven or detailed?? ;)
sorry dint get chance to catch up with u mate....was knee deep in sortin other sh1t out.....didnt even manage to get out on the bike. grrrrrrr
im pretty sure that 'some' cars can be saved. although i think its when they are put in museums etc. they cant be returned to the road, but im sure they dont have to be scrapped.
