well it had the rsport ecu on when the engine went. and that was retained with the new engine. after that it went to wayne at chip wizards, and it made quite a difference...hmmmm i see a pattern emerging ;)

maybe its the mapping ;)

not really. he starts from scratch.......completely wiping any map on the car. i suppose it depends on the state of tune. if its good then the results will be better. like chris' cup, and mine. engine built right to start with so best results gained. im sure he does have his 'off'...

chip wizards tbh.. he designed the dta ecu many moons ago. doesnt advertise, doesnt need to. 15 overall class champioinships last year...the boy knows his stuff.

as above...chip wizards is THE place to go for a decent map. end of really. hes not a salesman, he doesnt advertise, he doesnt big himself up............he doesnt need to. his reputation is all word of mouth and very very well deserved

wayne is second to none for mapping imho. most of the 'tuners' will give you reasons not to go there, but they are just after your business. i have insisted that KFS's car goes there for a decent mapping session. i have no doubt at all that it will be a much much nicer car to drive, and...

im pretty sure that 'some' cars can be saved. although i think its when they are put in museums etc. they cant be returned to the road, but im sure they dont have to be scrapped.
