My 172mk1 has it, it gets it light from the cigar lighter surround. In the dark it just about lights it up so you can see whats inside it.

You wont have any problems, its just 6 screws that hold it on, connect up the rear washer jet and brake light and away you go.

The hub spacing on most 1.2s is a different size, try anything that isnt from a 1.2 or a 172/182.

Its probably the temp sensor, id try changing that first. Also when was the last time the system was bled and changed?

Best to replace the aux belt aswel, if it hasnt been done yet just get the kit, if it has been done the belt is about £17, im sure the alternator is £150 from renault.

Breakers is you best bet, quite a lot of them are getting mk2ph1 clios in, they are all the same despite engine size.

Both sound a little expensive, both of those jobs are fairly straight forward to do with basic tools, the rear shocks are only held on with 1 nut and 1 bolt.

Check where the bottom rad hose connects as the bit on the rad the hose connects to is poorly designed.

Did your 1.2 have abs?? Are you using disc brakes now?? The number of teeth on a abs rotor on a disc is different to the number inside a drum.

For a 172s they are, the cups without air con have slightly different ones.

All other ph1 steering wheels will fit, however some dont have the extra horn buttons.

If I remember rightly the bumper mounts are different, other bits maybe needed. Also the sideskirts wont match the non sport wings, and you wider track front wheels will stick out and look odd.
