not saying the 4 pots wont be better. never really run a car with them tbh. but i think they are a bit overkill for minimal mods. the std units work fine , iv only ever really suffered fade with s**t pads.
lol..u want to try the 172 seats...they give u absolutely zero support for hard cornering. at least the willy seats will hold u in
the £130 a pair cobra buckets i have in the track car are even comfier than the 172 seats...also tested on a long run.....yorks-spa francorchamps. very comfy lol
they dont have to overly loud tbh mate. btw if u do de-cat......be prepared to replace ctr section if std fairly regularly. they seem to have a tendancy to blow the baffles out ;)
and they do get a little twitchier at the back when stripped lol
the 4 pots would b miles better than the...
dont have any of that in either of mine, wind noise etc.
yeah granted the gearing could b a little taller but the overall package is still far better than the newer variants.
the seats are like armchairs, never got out of my car with an aching back or dead arse, something i cant say for...
u shud learn to drive properly ;)
jamie....as for the 172 being the better car for long journeys??

nowt wrong with sticking an exhaust on it mate, but stick with the oe manifold and go for a de-cat, will free some ponies up.
replacement k&n or likewise in std airbox, 4 pots im not so sure need doin tbh. a good working set of oe units with decent pads will suffice for all but over extreme...
check all connections to the battery first, and any earths. they are prone to bad connections.
u should hear the pump prime when u turn the ignition on
yeah theyv moved on from the s60 to the w60....or other way round lol.
old uns had no zorst to speak of or airboxes. some very trick stuff on some of the cadet karts there yest, lcd readout on steering wheel, with gps, lap timers, rev counters, max revs etc etc etc. bit of an advantage...
its only the poor driving that does that. ppl reliant on driver aids nowadays astounds me.

there is no point im trying to hammer home......just asking questions.
sumps are interchangeable too...doesnt stop u fukking them up tho does it...resulting in total engine rebuild.
