Thanks guys, taken on my nex5n and a sigma 19mm prime, the combo is so sharp and has zero noise in comparison to my sony a77 and cost a fraction of what the 'proper' camera did!
Really like Red Wharf. bay Niall, the composition is excellent. The others don't do a lot for me, mainly due to the lighting but good compositions nonetheless.
Cameras can front or back focus a lens but that's only for autofocus, manual focus should be spot on, try manually focusing on a static object with the camera on a tripod or flat surface.
I think an average set if photographs has been run through some extreme photoshopping to try and make something out of them. Just my opinion of course and I know you can take excellent shots so these seem a little at odds.

A real 'fire in the sky' sunset a few weeks back, had to desaturate in lightroom as the real version looked too fake!!!
Not really having a clue about motorsport I aimed at other things than just speeding cars when I went to Goodwood!

Cheers Nial
I did try just the skyline and may post it but theres a lot of 'clutter' underneath it as in all the houses.
My fave from Goodwood, shot with a 70-200 2.8 and cropped from 24 MP to about 10mp.

This is a second attempt using a longer focal length at a view I posted back a few months back. I prefer the extra clarity and daylight in this version.

Great pics, having spent a very hot day there today I am starting to appreciate the skill required in Motorsport photography even if the end results don't bowl me over personally!
Correct me if I'm wrong but all of your lenses bar the 24-105 are aps-c only, so would all need to be sold?
If that's the case a swap to the better in every aspect Nikon D600 (vs 6D) wouldn't be a bad idea.
Two different things work best for juxtaposed items. Ones you wouldn't normally associate together, two of the same thing even if different in size or age is a mild juxtaposition. Good example if you google is being served ice cream and fish on the same plate.
