Thanks guys, taken on my nex5n and a sigma 19mm prime, the combo is so sharp and has zero noise in comparison to my sony a77 and cost a fraction of what the 'proper' camera did!

Really like Red Wharf. bay Niall, the composition is excellent. The others don't do a lot for me, mainly due to the lighting but good compositions nonetheless.

    Photography Chat and Questions Thread

Cameras can front or back focus a lens but that's only for autofocus, manual focus should be spot on, try manually focusing on a static object with the camera on a tripod or flat surface.

A bunch of punks from Blackpool

Great set, 4 is an excellent capture, would have been perfect without the people in the background and to the side but I suspect it was busy!

A few from todays shopping trip to Salford Quays

I think an average set if photographs has been run through some extreme photoshopping to try and make something out of them. Just my opinion of course and I know you can take excellent shots so these seem a little at odds.

    Belated Goodwood

Not really having a clue about motorsport I aimed at other things than just speeding cars when I went to Goodwood! Turkish, I have kept back my fave 50 or so from the day if you want them for your brother. Martini Lancia by Brazo76, on Flickr P Zero by Brazo76, on Flickr Model by Brazo76...

    2 Days in London

Love the effect of the last one, how was that achieved if you don't mind me asking? Spent a day in London on Wednesday (sans l'appareil photo) and have to say it was liberating!!

Nice spacing on the red arrows there, I found that yesterday at least 1.5 stops of exposure compensation was needed! Looks a better day today with bluer skies.

Cheers Nial I did try just the skyline and may post it but theres a lot of 'clutter' underneath it as in all the houses. My fave from Goodwood, shot with a 70-200 2.8 and cropped from 24 MP to about 10mp. Red Arrows by Brazo76, on Flickr

This is a second attempt using a longer focal length at a view I posted back a few months back. I prefer the extra clarity and daylight in this version. Speeding Mk2 by Brazo76, on Flickr

    70-200mm F2.8L & Extenders - Talk to Me

I recently shot the red arrows using a 70-200 and whilst perfectly useable with a crop to the final image a 70-400 would have been a better choice.

    Canon 6D vs Canon 5DmkIII - is a 6D 'good enough'?

Correct me if I'm wrong but all of your lenses bar the 24-105 are aps-c only, so would all need to be sold? If that's the case a swap to the better in every aspect Nikon D600 (vs 6D) wouldn't be a bad idea.

    July Photography Competition - Juxtaposition

Two different things work best for juxtaposed items. Ones you wouldn't normally associate together, two of the same thing even if different in size or age is a mild juxtaposition. Good example if you google is being served ice cream and fish on the same plate. Assuming you aren't eating at the...
