On a 1.2 the front springs are massive. As long as you have a good pair of spring clamps theres not much thats dangerous. Make sure they are clamped well and squashed before removing the top nut and when undoing them, do a bit at a time each side. Make sure the car is put on axle stands and...
As above, it depends where they have broken to how hard it is to get them off. Best get it done as basically the roll bar is not serving its purpose of preventing the car from rolling!! Handling will also be effected.
Have you got the the eBay link?? Could tell by seeing picture of them.
It doesnt sound right though as most deltas had bendix calipers that were the same as the big alfas and fiats. The fronts on a 172/182 are lucas, the same as some lagunas and scenics.
Its probably the anti roll bar links that bolt to the lower suspension arm. A lot of Clios had a problem where the bolts were too week and break. Renault and motor factors sell a new kit compromising of nut, bolt and rubber washer if fitted. I maybe able to get part number. Is the end of the...
Cover the wheels if left outside, rust on the discs over time jams the brakes on. I should warn you renaults dont like being driven for a long time. Shouldnt run into too many problems tbh if only 5 months.

Yeah the adjusting nut is in the same place, remove the shield and you will need a deep socket to tighten it. Some mk2ph1s have an adjusting nut actually on the handbrake lever.
Your right in thinking its connected to the mid pipe and runs all the way to the cat. The backbox can be seperated from the centre section by a join just above the rear trailing arm. Theres a sleeve that can be opened so they can be pulled apart.
Its a very common problem, its probably...
