Actually I quite like those in black or gold. But saying that Id have to agree with Day, gotta love the 16" F1's.

I heard from somewhere they changed the lower roller/tensioner for a better one as it easily wore out and rumbled.

The mk2ph1s have the same fitment as the Mk1 Clios, Halford sell all different aerials in different sizes.

The foam part just covers where the air conditioning pipes go into the bulkhead, not sure why it is there. The sound deadening mat is just held on with plastic lugs, give em a pull with a flat bladed screw driver and pull it off.

As kdf says its really easy, 1 bolt at the bottom and 1 nut at the top and its off.

Im not sure if any 172 actually had an aluminium boot but Renault did advertised that fact in one of the press releases, Ive also read it somewhere else. My red X reg 172 has shift light but not an aluminium bonnet.

Yeah its the clocks as said above, they are linked to a sensor on the gearbox that tells you your speed and mileage.

Coming from driving my gf's Suzuki Jimny (hydraulic everything) for a while to my 172 feels like driving a Sherman Tank at first until you get used to it again.

They look ok but in my experience Bk racing alloys are always really heavy.

I noticed the same going from a 1.2 to a 172, mainly from Golf and CTR drivers that think they are faster. ;) Saying that it must be worse for 182 drivers as the 172mk1s look a little bit stealth.

Ive finally moved in and settled, hopefully should be able to keep running the 172 especially if I get my pay rise in June*. It helps with the running costs living a little closer to work. She has her own little space now, instead of parking on the mud pit of a front lawn at my parents house...

I dont see how it is possible to write to "all clio II owners". How can renault now track who has a Clio and who doesnt? Some of these Clios are now 9 years old and have problably had 5-6 different owners. Another thing is its not just Clios that have these catches, every Renault van we have...

Basically your car has 3 wires either side that is your current H4 single light setup, on each side there is a wire for Low beam, high beam and earth. For each side you need to just split the earth wire into 2 for 2 bulbs. Left Main beam Green - to H7 bulb inner Left Dipped beam Beige - to HB3...

The cup with the "cup" plate is someone who works where I do at A&L in Narborough. In fact I parked in front of it today. Yet to find out if they are on here or not yet.
