Do that first^, some clios have an adjusting nut on the lever, pull the plastic cover off the back of the lever and there should be a nut on the passenger side that adjusts the slack, if not then you'll have to adjust it from underneath.
Rock I think you would get away with fitting them straight on however iirc you may need some spacers for the rear as the tyres will rub on the arch liner (especially if from a trophy as 205 width tyres).
Looks like renault are still trying to keep the clio2 going with a new facelift for 2007. Cant beleive that this car will be 9 years old next year. These pics are the renault press ones, havnt seen them posted on here before:
The fronts open the door then try and get your finger behind the back of the door strip and slide it towards the rear of the car. The rears do the same but slide finger under front of strip and slide to front of car.
You'll need a 21mm swan neck (ring)spanner then I used an allen key but extened the key with a thin long bar to wrench it off, they can be a pain and feels like your damaging the strut, helps if the lower of the strut is still bolted on...
Yeah I think the best place is probably ebay they crop up all the time on there. Renault would probably charge a small fortune and you'd have to buy 2.
yeah as winston said any of those wheels whould have fitted apart from the centre bore is too small. Any wheels from anothor 4 stud renault should fit but beware of 13" steelies as i dont think they would fit over your calipers. Most renaults have an offset of 35-45 & same bore size so fitting...
Ah cheers edde I wandered if you might know. Drove it up the A5 today and the temp gauge seems to be all over the place didnt notice that, so I guess its the temp sensor.
My brothers Clio that im borrowing at the moment has started playing up. When I try to start it when its already warm it struggles to start/idles way too low, it seems to do it more often when there is below quarter of petrol in the tank. Anyone else had this and know the cure??
Ive...
Yeah as mentioned above the dynamique/172/182(no cup packs) are all the same. 172cups and 182s with the cup pack have enlarged ones and the 182 trophy has an even larger one like the V6.
If I put one of my socks in the exhaust it would definatly fail any emission test :clown: . As mentioned above before the test get then engine up to temp and give a thrashing before the test should help.
Ah so you decided to get a rsi in the end, good choice there are some bargains around as Ive been looking at them too. What happened to your old car Giles?
I work at Carlon park now, in building 7 at the back. I havnt seen a valver or a cup but Ive seen a blue V6 and a blue 182. Ill keep a look out for you guys.
Shocks smooth out or damp sudden movement/impulses in the suspension, basically they reduce the effect to the ride while travelling over rough ground. Without them the car would bounce around the road all over the place. If your lowering more than 40mm its best to get some uprated or matching...
