I have used Genuine parts and Lemforder parts (ball joints). All the parts were used as daily for around 15k miles. I think this is not much. Today I drive for around an hour, no issues at all.

You also have to cut from MTC, I have them. You measure to be sure to cut the maximum amount, I think in total is more than 1 1/2"

I think I will measure and cut the maximum amount to have a total length as the connection pipe.
