I found some "50 x 25 x 3.0 Aluminium Rectangular Box Section Lengths 250 - 600 mm" (sorry old link is dead now) from ebay was close enough for me, I would suggest to still measure it up yourself to be sure it's ok for you too.
BTW, the omp subframes end up slightly lopsided (can't remember which way possibly inwards), doesn't bother some people, it did bother me. I ended up not using the Renault plastics and using some aluminium box section to act as a spacer bar that ran along the exhaust tunnel, made it perfectly...
Don't know if this helps but I'm 6' and with bimarco seats on fairly standard size mounts sat on omp sub-frames, plus a safety devices cage, I found my head knocking the upper part of the cage when wearing a helmet. Was too cramped for me so I had to go lower as a result.
Does anyone know if these types of pins are interchangeable on ph2 door hinges (possibly same for ph2 too)?

...they certainly look like they are.
Thanks, all very valid benefits, glad I asked, never thought about the walls and when height. I need to consider width so I can get it through a through garage for storage without having to modify walls/opening, that's probably going to limit me somewhat. Good luck, hope the purchase goes well.
I have some I can dig out that were kindly shared by fellow members on here. Shame they can't be hosted somewhere to build out a library, but I expect it is a distribution issue for Renault.
(Nice driving BTW, the ring is on my list one day)
Mark, could I be nosey and ask why you'll be running a Quaife and not a Gripper, is it because it's still a road car/daily driver?
Thanks for clearing that up, I can put my hand to anything but it's painful and likely costly without the right gear, plus I appreciate experience is worth paying for on a precision job like this.
So its a gearbox off and send as a complete piece for either one, probably easier anyway. Now to...
@DCELEC 182
Fair enough, I can appreciate the hit on the finances, safety first, I'm trying to work out how to do an LSD, AST coilovers and a trailer over the winter! :s
I'm wanting to sprint as well as track and possibly a little racing next session if I'm lucky, so I'm torn. I'm also a...
@DCELEC 182, did you decide? ...I'm in pretty much the same boat. I also hear the grippers can be a little noisy (best for an owner to confirm this though).
Is Fred@BTM still on here, wouldn't mind knowing the outcome of that trial too?
Good price, but would need to consider Harry's view on it if using it with his HLT app....
"Qstarz has a long history in producing GPS accessories. The Qstarz BT-Q818 XT is the one used most often by track visitors. Its main advantage is a good price / value ratio. The Q818 XT delivers GPS at...
Yep, a 10hz GPS update would be my next purchase after the ODB2 dongle, this is top of Harry's list too...

You've obviously found a cheap ODB2 dongle that works, the ones I've bought keep dropping connection, I've given up, will probably buy one of the recommended ones for HLT now. The speed of the rev counter updates are much better that what I've experienced. Nice job!
I bit of a learning curve I guess but looks smart and probably straight forward after a few attempts at it. What ODB2 device do you use and app to record the ecu data? Same question for GPS?
I use HC's with pagid blues and they're great so far, good cold bit which is what I was after and seem good on track for 20mins sessions at a time. I've got to be careful not to lock them up with no ABS. Still need to do a circuit with more high speed braking off the straights though to test...
