I have the Costco ALU one too, managed to rebuild most of the car with it, problem free. Also manages to get far enough under the cabin to jack up from the beams when I've had too, is quick, and has a rubber lift pad (kind to paint work). Post above is right, not as light as you would expect...
It's a good app, I use it and it's probably a lot cheaper than the pro gear. You do need to invest into both a high accuracy and quicker GPS Bluetooth unit, as well as a faster ODBII bluetooth device to get the best out of the app. Something I've yet to do. The author recommends those on his...
Can I ask, what's the benefit of the lightened flywheel apart from the obvious weight saving? ... Quicker rev response?
Also, same question for replacing the pulleys (I assume this is just the two cam pulleys)?
Cheers
I have some 3" TRS 6 point's that are looped to the cage harness bar at the rear. The lower four points I followed the MSA guidelines for angles and bolted all four through the floor pan in to spreader plates that have the nuts pre-welded. If you buy the plates from e.g. demon tweaks, just...
Make sure you thoroughly clean the bolts and sockets of any crud, and don't force the bolt back in, I managed to strip the thread on one of mine and had to helicoil it.
Boy, this is like déjà vu for me, I've also done 4xTD's and 2xsprints so far this year with a similar new build (will one day find time to do build thread)
Good looking car and pics, the PMS is great I agree, I'm also now researching an LSD after my last sprint, let us know what you decide on...
I don't have too much problem with brakes (Brembo HC + Pagid blues) in rebuilt callipers (which as a whole, is excellent). Although I have some bits to make my own ducts, I'm not feeling the need for this yet (following 4 sessions at brands), more so I need a cold air feed to the air filter...
Checking my email receipts this was it, but please be sure the dimensions are bang on correct when you pick up, one of my boxes had the wrong part replaced in it.

I bought two replacement front bearings for my 172 cup from euro car parts when they had them on offer as low as £30 each. They where the same manufacturer and part number as Renault's own part, which was promptly returned.
Relays seem fine by individually feeling for the switching, maybe I need to be more thorough and check the pin voltages. It's currently in this state while stone cold and with a fully charged battery so it's got to be bad connection in my mind. Going to check starter trigger again, though not...
Good to know though I didn't think enough heat could travel that far to affect them. I will definitely check though thanks. Do all three have to switch on ignition?
Thanks mate, will check, but I'm now convinced it's a bad connection on the starter trigger wire that needs replacing. Vibrations are probably affecting it, especially as I run with stiff engine mounts.
