    Race battery life.

The battery should float at 13.68v so its possible the altenator is damaging these batteries by overcharging by keeping them at 14.4

    Race battery life.

The red-tops are aircraft batteries which neatly sale quite well in the race car market, they will not cope with everyday use a car will put them through. Keeping them on constant float charge is a good idea. A bike charger is ideal, little loom and connector down by front bumper and just clip...

Recommendation for a good AFR meter

You need a wideband sensor to be any real use and cost/life are issues, they are more sensitive and are prone to fail in everyday use.

Do you blip the throttle of down changes?

Mark, if you discard the mechanical sympathy part, do you think by clutch control and brake modulation you cannot achieve the same degree of smoothness in the Clio as heel-toe? Do you ever comprimise outright braking and therfore laptime due to the brakes limits on the Clio?

Do you blip the throttle of down changes?

I disagree with the progress part, i see the advantages to its use tho

Do you blip the throttle of down changes?

So can anyone see an advantage of not preforming heel/toe? (in track situations) I do blip on the road but when going balls out i shift the conventional modern way.

I forget the corner names or muddle them up but going by this i make good time at Quarry (needs bottle to brake over Avon rise) but...

Is mine the worst melted/f***ed thumgrips Renault steering wheel ever?

Mines started going too, its got a small tear in thumb grip as M!keydee's above and also melted slightly on edges. Whats the 197 wheel like, hopefully a direct replacement with bag and buttons???

    1080p HD TV

Blacks are important! Comes down to personal preference but id bet a Pioneer Plasma with a lower res screen will impress you more than a 1080 LCD. More to it than pixels! If you are set on 1080p, then check its a native 1080 screen rather than a diff res that just accepts 1080. ps, i have a...

    turbo kits

But why even run a re-circ? 7 psi will be no problem without and the throttle response is massively improved. I ran 28psi with no dumpvalve and no problems for a fair while on my old car. If you want a far cooler noise 'chatter' is the way, tho id use an airbox to reduce this.

    turbo kits

How does it fuel? Does it run stand alone managment? Edit, runs a knock sensor according to the link. Interested how it actually works still Why run dump valve at those pressures on a no-doubt robust turbo? Ruins drivability and produces a ghey noise
