Does anyone know where I can buy an NGK lambda sensor for a 1.2 16v? They don't seem to sell them online and can't find anywhere that stocks them.
Also, it was mentioned that they are difficult to remove. Is this true? And if so then in what sense?
Cheers
Nah he doesn't live in the street. I think he was lost and so went to turn round and head back out of the street which is when I saw him taking about 10 atempts at it (though at the time he was nowhere near my car).
Don't know for sure that it was him and doubt I'll ever find out tbh.
Most...
Went out to my car earlier on to discover this:
Got a nice big scratch down the drivers door plus my newly colour coded side strip
Happened right outside my house, no note or anything left though predictably.
I have my suspicions that it was some doddery old man in a...
Black ph1 172 (I think, though it had 16v badges so could have been a rep) complete with yozzasport/pedobear stickers in the B&Q side of the car park at around 3pm today.
Only caught a quick glimpse whilst driving past but it looked sweet as fook!
Aye sounds good mate! What all have you done to it likes?
We can do it after I finally get my coilovers fitted, they are just sitting in my garage at the moment because I can't afford to have it done lol.
haha sorry mate
Jesus this is gettin weird now! I can't believe I still dont remember anyone leaving though!
Whats your name mate, it might jog something. PM me if you like.
Yeh I wouldn't be surprised either, I can't recall anyone leaving though. What year did you go?
Yeh I can remember most of them actually, I had Mr Sexton for maths too. I was in Mr Harley's tutor group (biology) if that means anything to you?
Sounds good! It's something I'd really like to get in to (if I had the cash) lol
Good effort with the pics though, maybe we'll get some arty ones at the next meet
 I'm 19 too, we were prob in the same year! So aye I was there lol, they made it even worse later on by putting big electronic locks on all the outside doors so you couldnt get in/out at certain times of the day!
Aye they're nice houses up there. How old are you mate? Might of been at James Young the same time as you.
Nah it's about the same as ever tbh. Club earth is just a bit of a dive, you get all sorts turning up as its the only place to go after about 2am without heading into Edinburgh.
Yeh I stay in Murieston mate, do you remember what street you used to live on?
Callum, dont keep us in suspense. Did you get a ride off Dave or not?? ;)
Twas me! Was admiring the RS in my mirrors the whole way along til you went tearing past me, looked like a serious weapon.
What you making of it so far then? Still running it in by the sound of your other thread?
Apologies if I was holding you back from a "spirited" drive! I imagine it would...
Nah it's four AAA batteries I think, never changed them since I got them so they seem to last quite a long time.
Tbh I hardly ever use them on battery power though as they're usually only used in my bedroom or in the kitchen for parties.
I'd go for altec lansing ones. Had a set for the last 3 years (the last 2 years of which has been in uni) and they havnt missed a beat. Really thin, portable, great sound and volume and have battery and mains power.
Here are the ones I've got...
Yeah you can definately get it cheaper than £59 from a renault dealer mate. I think mine was around £43 when I got it.
Just get yourself to a dealer and order one at the parts desk :)
Silver one parked outside archies garage on brook street today at about 1pm, CS sticker in the rear side window and renaultsport.co.uk one on the back.
Looked pretty tidy
Yeah fair enough.
LOL at it not being able to get off the ramps though! :D
Cheers mate, the name rings a bell for some reason.
I'll have a look into it some time soon when I've got a bit more cash.
Ooft I hope there aren't any speedbumps anywhere near you :clown: lol.
Yeah fair enough, that was gonna be my next question actually cos I don't know of anywhere decent for that sort of thing in Dundee.
Oh aye, I meant to ask you ages ago btw, do you still have the name/number for that guy...
PM'd
Cool, it will look awesome when it's done mate. How low you looking to go? I take it you're getting them set up professionally?
Yeah I think I probably will, they're growing on me more and more the way they are tbh.
I dunno what to do yet tbh, no matter what alloys I got I always said I'd do them anthracite as part of the idea I had for the car. Having them on now though the silver has grown on me massively so I'm tempted to keep them as is.
PM'd ;)
Cheers mate, need to organise a meet some time now...
Nah I usually keep an eye out but haven't seen you around either, should get a meet organised some time up here :)
(preferably when I get around to lowering mine) lol.
Yeah I might just have to give 60mm springs a miss unless I can afford the shocks to go with them tbh, probably be worth waiting and saving a bit more till I can.
Callum, as I said mate go for dual optics and colour coding (would be first on my list anyways).
Oh, and silvervisions ;)
The wheels you mean? Been mulling that one over and not quite sure yet tbh, its a toss up between standard silver and anthracite at the moment. What do you reckon?
Yeah I'm wanting to go down to about 60mm but can only afford springs and have been advised against it by quite a few people lol...
Yeah I've got loads I want to do when I get the cash/time for it.
First thing is definately getting it lowered, it's riding like a tractor at the moment. After that probably colour coding, plus the wheels could use a refurb tbh.
Met up with renclio earlier on today at the multi-storey in Livi to grab a few pics of the cars together  I'll let the pics do the talking so here are the results:
