LOL at the "my wall" debate, I didn't realise it was such a popular spot for photo's.
I thought I was on to a winner with a decent location when I walked past it going to the recycling centre a while back!
I reckon I probably live closest to it though as I'm only a couple of streets away so...
Cheers for all the positive replies :)
Can't wait to get it lowered, it's just crying out for it at the moment!
Got my eye on a set of lowering springs on ebay at the moment but not whether to go for 40mm or 60mm drop.
I'd prefer to drop it 60 visually but I'm not sure what the ride would...
Lol cheers mate, just looking in to getting the sides and rear done to match now as I've had the front done for ages now thanks to a special someone :o
Aye I've got a few things at the back of my mind for when I can afford it.
Keeping it simple for now though with lowering and colour coding...
Bought these the other day from BREMBO (thanks again mate) after hunting for a set of alloys for ages.
Got around to fitting them on tuesday so went to grab a few pics yesterday :)
Car went from looking like this a while back:
To this:
Really need to get it lowered...
Not sure which will be better out of those two mate but i've got a pioneer and its always done me well :)
They'll both be a straight fit but neither will work with the steering wheel stalk controls without an adaptor. I know you can get them for alpine HUs but not sure about kenwood or...
+1 just do it yourself mate, its so easy and you'll save yourself a fortune!
I dont think i'd trust a halfords employee anywhere near my car anyways tbh, they haven't got a clue what they're doing. I went in one day to ask for advice from a friend of a friend that worked in there when i was...
I don't have one.
But judging by other threads I've seen it's not a shift light, it's to tell you you're being a bit of a spanner and to change up so I'm assuming you can't alter when it comes on.
I'd say around £150 - £200. Tbh the majority will probably be holiday snaps or similar, just want something that can deliver really good quality pics without being overly bulky or complicated whilst still being able to be a bit creative
Yeah I saw that too, but not being educated in this sort...
Ok so I'm looking at getting a new camera for x-mas (only a compact, wouldnt know what to do with a dslr! lol).
I'm planning on heading down to jessops within the next couple of days to see what I make of three that I have narrowed it down to so far and quite like the look of.
Before I do...
Re: Need to know ASAP - Car Value
Had a quick look on pistonheads and most cups seem to be going for between £4k-£4.5k apart from a couple of lower milage ones.
Hope that helps
when i click that link it just comes up with "windows live help centre" with the FAQs and stuff again which i cant find anything in :S
how did you find it?
Apparently my mum has been trying to email me all this week and yet i have not recieved any of them :S
My hotmail appears to be working normally otherwise and she tried sending emails from my dads and my sisters accounts which are linked to hers and they both worked fine. It also works when I...
Car looks good to me mate, have to agree with everyone on getting it slammed though as it looks pretty high as it is.
As has been said you'll need to get used to recieving criticism on CS if you dare to do anything slightly different, you'll come to love it though lol.
As long as your happy...
Nice idea that mate and a really good guide, might have to have a go at that myself!
I've wondered about putting extra lights in the front that would come on with the existing one (i.e when the switch is turned on or the door is opened) but I've got no idea how I'd go about doing it lol...
mine's been hanging off for ages now so looks like its heading the same way.
would be interested to hear what autoglass have to say as well, though i'm not sure what they would be able to do about it other than change the whole windscreen.
Just pull! lol. I used a flat headed screw driver wrapped in electrical tape to lever mine out though. They put up a bit of a fight but got there in the end. Then the bulbs just screw out at the back iirc.

Its entirely up to yourself and your personal taste mate.
But if your asking for opinions then i'd say leave it all standard.
It will save you a shed load of cash and look miles better imo.
If i was going to do either the front or the back though i'd definately go for the front. Lexus...
+1. They just look chavvy mate, keep it subtle and it will look loads better imo.
Neither you or your wallet will be thankful for buying lexus lights a few months down the line.
I'm a lucky sod tbh....

As said as long as you find a decent frequency to have them at their pretty good for the money, can pick up a bit of interference from time to time otherwise.
Personally i wouldnt go spending a fortune on one though, depending on the HU you can often get proper ipod adapters which would be a...
