Can anyone give me the correct part number for Trophy Turini wheels please ? Must be the Trophy wheels, not the 172 Cup ones as they are a different offset. Thanks.
I'm looking at getting some Trophy alloys through a friend who works for Renault F1, but I need a chassis number to order tham against. Would any Trophy owners be willing to PM me your number please?
Thanks in advance
Donington is hard on brakes, so may be worth having a look to see how your current discs and pads are wearing. If the discs are ok but the pads are getting low then I'd suggest upgrading to Ferodo DS2000 , DS2500 or similar, they still work from cold but retain their braking ability at a higher...
There are a few FF182's around without the cup suspension. I can't understand why anyone would not buy the cup packs from new, but is it possible to fit the suspension later, and what is involved ? I know the wheels are different, so that's going to be £300 ish to sort, but what about the rest ?
Nobody ever comes back to me and says "I wish I hadn't bought those PIAA bulbs". Worth every penny, but I'm buying a 182FF over a Cup because of the Xenons, 'cos they're brilliant (no pun intended.)
I want to fit an amp to power front component speakers. Will it fit somewhere discrete ? I don't want to fit it to the back seats or anything like that. If I can't hide one somewhere I'll just run the head unit (Alpine 9850). Any ideas ?
Cheers
I think it's a bit of a grey area, and depends how friendly your MOT station is. As far as I know, the cat has to be fitted to the car - but not necessarily as part of the exhaust ! I do know people who have got away with cable tying the cat to the boot floor and calling that "fitted". It will...
As an option - there don't seem to be many 182's with them fitted from the factory. Were they (more) expensive from Renault than they are from Recaro ?
Tell your boyfriend that unless his Porsche is under 3 years old he should definately be taking it to a reputable independant specialist, not a main dealer. The same thing applies to your Renault. The reason is that if you take a car to a main dealer for a service they will merely follow the...
Also may be worth mentioning that the previous owner of your car may have fitted coilovers or something, throwing the standard parts back on to trade it in. You may be well advised to get the whole suspension geometry checked rather than just the tracking. There are plenty of places that can do...
Possibly, but FF's don't come with Recaro seats (Trendlines), and there's a lot more to choose from if I look at Cups too. Also, what with them being poverty spec to start with it'd probably be cheaper to buy a Cup, change the parts, keep the originals and put the car back to standard when I...
Zymol - best there is IMO.

"In seven years of driving I've been stopped hundreds of times" - WTF ??? no offence, but maybe some driving lessons or a chill pill are in order :dapprove:
Trendlines come in loads of different fabrics and come with or without harness slots. All these options affec the prices. Call John Harris here at Demon Tweeks, I reckon he can do a good deal. 01978 663057.
It depends who builds the exhaust - some people are better than others ! Good warranty with them though, we (Demon Tweeks) get a quite a bit of work repairing systems which have been fitted elsewhere.
There are a couple of different types available - flush ones, which mount from underneath, as well as "plus flush" ones that mount from the top. Also available in locking and non locking versions, with Cliosport discount from John Harris @ Demon Tweeks too.
The only mods that would put me off are the springs (what's wrong with std Cup Pack springs) and the induction kit. Price is a little high, but not so high I wouldn't try to negotiate with you. The real killer for a lot of people is your location, IMO. I live in North Wales, and unless I'm...
