i got a 23" samsung hdtv that we used for the 360.
great with the 360, but it would not play DVD's through the 360!!
some sort of progressive scan issue with the TV, SAMSUNG blame XBOX, XBOX blamed SAMSUNG!

telly not in place yet still on the floor, so i get a sore neck trying to watch it at the moment!
mines nearly finished - just need to finish some painting and tidy up, oh and lift the TV into position - be tricky as i have 5mm clearance either side.

just got a 52" Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR4
Fook me it's amazing! playing Gundam on it at the moment, colours are so vivid, and the sound from the on-board speakers is great.
i bought the ps3 just for the blu-ray player - cheaper than most dedicated players $499 plus you get a games system attached!!
I prefer the 360 for games though, but thats just a personal choice - i cant split them graphically, and the PS3 is going through HDMI.
I went to the NHRA Nationals at a raceway not too far from our house.
As I was taking my seat in the stand a top fuel drag car came past on his way to a 4.65sec 1/4 mile - I have never heard anything that loud before in my life, my eyes shook and chest rumbled - Amazing!
PS3 it is.
It's 1080p supports 7.1 and is only $489 over here, same price as a similar spec blueray player??? Can't quite get my head round what such good valve it is!!
Cheers.
Planning our home cinema room, in the process of fitting 7.1 surround sound system - 7 speakercraft aim 8 ones 8" in-ceiling pivoting speakers, with a Marantz SR5001 reciever.
Telly is a Panasonic TH-50PZ700U 50" 1080p plasma
Stuck on what DVD player to buy?? Would it be worth just getting...
I heard that Sony had stopped making Plasma screens now?
I'm going to Costco later to buy a BBQ, I'll post some pics of the TV's they have got for sale over here, and the prices!!!
wait till they start bringing out the luxeon star LED's for automotive use, the latest units can produce 5W, and over 100 lumen, they will replace the HID units soon,as they're cheaper and weigh less.
Heat is a problem with high output leds, need good heatsinking
we bought a 23" samsung HD from Costco $550, about 275 of your English pounds.
Crackin picture with the XBOX 360 BUT!! Won't play DVD from 360, comes up format unsupported - did a net search apparently Samdung tellys have a problem rendering interlaced inputs from DVD's!!
This might help aswell - mine was £460 fully comp on my 172;)
build up a few more years NCB, dont go givin away your hard earned to these bloody pirates!
I only bought my new un cos it had only arrived 2 days prior to me seeing it and was still covered in stickers and had the seats covered in plastic.

Hell love the RX8!!:D - Which dealer? Just bought mine from Stockport.
One of my neighbours nearly lost his CTR at lights in Moss Side - LUCKILY he had his door locked, so the guy with the knife walked off after trying it!!
He uses a fiesta for work now!
Well it was a compromise between me and my wife - I wanted a feckin monster, she didnt want owt that looked like my clio - to boy racerish in her opinion (as was the VX220 and the elise we look at ).
choice is very limited when you need to meet so many criteria - fast(ish), stylish, able...
For the UK market they are 192 and 231 ps - dont know about elsewhere USA???
tbh I am still "running in" so havent got a true feel for the cars performance, but it aint gutless thats for sure!!
a more powerful rotary would be a really wallet scaring thought!! my mpgs bad enough!!
Dont feel slow at all, and I can only go upto 5,500 rpm whilst running in - with the odd visit north of that.
Book figure is 7.2 to 62, with the 231 coming in at 6.4 - but the difference in torque means the 192s 220NM give it a better mid-range than the 231, You get a 6 speed box on the 213...
yeah there are two power outputs from essentially the same engine (plus another port) 192 and 231 ps
the 192 has slightly higer torque at 220NM verses the 231s 211NM - plus theres £2000 price difference, so I got leather instead!!:D
