Wow! Nice work on the polishing! Also good call on painting it black around the renault sport on top.
What kind of elbow is that that goes to the filter? Lengthwise and diameter I mean. Because I'm looking to buy one look that.
He needs the VIN for it to be unlocked for your car. I guess if you emailed him (Henk) he could sell you a locked rstuner and then buy the license separately afterwards. Although that seems a bit a cumbersome way of doing things.. And yes you need to download the software for your laptop in...
That's a problem with the screen, can't see it being a software issue. So I'd get it back to the guy. Also seems cheap for a replacement screen! Maybe prices went down but I remember paying about 40 euros just for the screen and did it myself.
I'd like to know the truth about this. In the picture is a drawing of how the original (172) inlet is originally a little restrictive.
How about the rs stamped ones? Do or don't they have the restriction?

The massive two-gigabyte download costs ten bucks and requires an iPad 2 or newer running iOS 6.0 or later.Note you must have at least 2.5 GB of free storage space in order to...
Henk saved the day for me!
He sent me a cc retrofit specific map and it worked. After first startup the cc function didn't seem to work, then after that it did and has worked ever since.
So I'm a happy customer.
I guess it's the same thing as forking out hundreds for new wheels where the original ones work just fine to begin with..
And I think it's a RFID one. Or it goes with the alarm/central locking. If you don't disarm it then its not gonna start.
Well tbh that's what I thought too but this one looks pretty good actually. It doesn't need your key and works with the central locking.
You would of course need to remove the steering lock if you really don't want to use the key..
Technically yes. I never use the cc much and this did occur some time after I did a rstuner remap.
I take it that could be the problem then? And more important, how can I fix it?
Yeah I've been getting a fault now and then saying "throttle pedal position track 2 input" which I also made a topic for.. But I've been getting that error from time to time before the cc started acting up.
I guess all that had changed is an oil change and put on the stage 1 map.
Maybe a start button? But one where you still have to put the key in. Some nitrous style switches to maybe control footwell lights/leds. Or an underbody neon kit for which you can also use the switches. (Although technically that's not part of the interior..)
Lately whenever I use the cc the car stars jerking. Don't have another word for it.. It doesn't keep a steady pace like it should and did. It's like you're constantly blipping the throttle and letting go again. It does kind of keep the speed that I set but is continually speeding up and slowing...
Now and then getting a fault saying:
Code: DF0009, DF0126, DF0198
Description: Throttle pedal position track 2 input
I can guess what the TPP is but what would correspond to track 2?
Like to get rid of this error that sometimes puts the car in safety mode or whatever that's called..
Also think it shouldn't be a problem! Would splicing the obd port give any problems though? Like when 2 things are pulling information from it, or doesn't that matter?
I was just thinking how awesome it would be if in the end the screen could be hooked up to something like the obduino!
