Hi, I just got back from my MOT test and the car failed on the CO2 emissions... They were well over the allowed 0.30, and I was wondering if that means that the CAT as packed up??? does anyone know what the CAT actually does?? I dont want to pay out 200 quid if its not the CAT...

you could save money by buying a recon turbo and injectors.....

Is anyone able to get cheap renualt parts??? Im after 2 ABS sensors for my 93 16v the part no. is 77 00 806 172, rang my local dealer and there £127.42+vat ea (£149.72) and I need 2! So before I re-mortgage the house and go to the local dealer, thought someone on here my be able to help...

Originally it was going to be a track car, but its taken so long that I would be able to live with myself it i crashed it! Mainly it will be just a weekend car, maybe a few 1/4 miles so i can she what it can do ;) The battery lives in the footwell behind the passager seat.

Hello mate, Ive done it.... on a Mk1 16v. I changed the steering rack, pedal box, brake master cylinder (plus piping). I welded up the existing holes and cut new ones, plus fitted some strengthing around the new holes. Also had to weld in the steering column brackets, but that was about...

hello, Right as I understand, cos I passed my test after 01/97, I cant tow another vehicle on a trailer cos it will be heavier then 750kg, but can I tow the empty car trailer?? (So that I can pick up the trailer and get someone else to deliver the car). Thanks for your help Tony.

Hello, As part of my turbo conversion I need to move the battery to the boot, Ive got some 135Amp cable from demon tweeks, and a battery connector for the positive, but my problem is how do I connect the existing power wires to the new cable in the engine bay where the battery used to be...

If Im rebuilding the bottom end of a 1.8 16v is it worth getting the 2.0ltr oil pump, instead of the standard 16v one? cos its uprated??# cheers Tony.
