Following on from the discussions on power to weight ratios I was wondering who has the most powerful Clio once you take passenger weight into account?
I myself weigh 11.6 Stone/73Kg.
My car weighs 1035kg (according to official figures)
So 1035+73 = 1108
172/1108 = 0.1552

LOL, Yes, it my mission to save weight. I have already ditched the spare wheel for a can of "get me home foam". Seriously though weight saving is a cost effective way of increasing the performance of your car. My next idea is to save some passenger weight by going on a diet and getting a slimmer...
Yeah I thought that could be a problem with the mk1s but for a car out of warranty it doesnt matter that much anyway as a hill power chip or similar will do just the same thing.
Just apply some more when that starts to happen. I will try it on my paint next to see how that goes. It is supposed to keep your car cleaner for longer! We shall see!

Well it doesnt say anything about not putting it on the windscreen on the bottle Ive got. Not sure where its from as it was a xmas gift but it cost about £12 for a 236ml bottle. I am told though that once you have the bottle you can buy refills which are cheaper.

Anyone used this product? Apparently you can use it on bodywork and glass. Its supposed to produce a glaze that stops water clinging to the surface. I used it on my windscreen yesterday and it seems to work really well. Dont even need to use my wipers!

Each to their own I say. What I tend to find with both cars is they look better from certain angles. Sometimes both can look pretty ordinary but other times they can look really mean. The mk2 has grown on me a alot and I think its abit unfair to say that it doesnt look much different from...
