Based on the pics above I agree the silver ones look the smartest by far!
I'm having a similar thoughts at the moment.....planning to go from my white turinis to either silver or anthra, but mine is a Mondial Cup and will be fitted with carbon stealthy goodies.....so darkish wheels (I despise...
Try one of the guys on here selling carbon bits, they could prob coat a standard plastic one in CF......of try giving streamline carbon a call!
Never seen one done yet though!
I agree, silver badges looks more OEM even with the yellow. Very nice and smart indeed!
Got my original Turinis in the garage and toying with either anthracite or red (Car is cup blue and is awaiting lots of carbon bits....heading for the stealth look) and selling the...
Civil servant too, 26 with 6 years ncd 7500 miles, no points/one non-fault claim in 2008, Garaged......£704
Not fair :(
Think my postcode is rated 'D' though......
Me too, I get a metal on metal squeal when on full left hand down lock - only when reversing though. Coilovers are not too low and did make the noise before I fitted them. Does it worse when car is warmed up. Noise from Drivers side.....somewhere.
As said above, quite embarrassing when in car...
Sorry, I meant to confirm is the 10 and 12 mm size refering to the bolts that hold on the ball joint module to the wishbone?
I'll get my car up and measure it me thinks. I'm assuming then that the SAN513 CB1N and the SPL CB1N are the same lower arm with different joints pre fitted.....figures...
I'm interested too, been down to my local MFs recently and they can do each wishbone fully bushed/balljointed for £30 a side, I just need to know whether mine is a 10 or 12mm version.
Also, is it likely they can translate the Renault part number to a different brand/system part number to get...
You have to be doing something like 4mph with the engine running before it kicks in and locks the door......
Also if I unlock mine, but dont touch the doors, a minute later it relocks and re-arms the alarm......just in case you mis-press the button walking away.
I cant work out how with...
I think a slightly darker silver would look good, not anthra dark though.......Audi Nimbus Grey sounds good! Definitely sort some centre caps too as said, would fill out the colour across the alloy as it looks a bit absent/hollow without.
Nice pics chap, have been trying to find out what splitter the Ricky-Rpm Clio had on....got a pic up close but not downloaded my camera yet.........
This one:
Had it on the car for ages, think it suits it in my opinion, very low and deep but of a rubberised plastic so doesnt destroy itself when it catches on speedbumps etc like it does quite often!
Quite a few people with them on here with them fitted to their cars that I've seen!
Gave her a final shine and fitted my new RS badge on the rear......ready for tomorrow!
Much better without all the smaller bumper stickers I used to have!
If it doesnt you should be able to get one from most Alpine sellers, although they may have to order it in. Just give them your model number if you need to get one.
It should come with a surround. I bought an Alpine ida-x001 couple of years ago. Came with the correct surround......
Silver edge around the unit you can just see here:
Guys,
Getting metal on metal squeal when reversing at low speed mainly with full left hand down lock but does randomly squeal when slowly reversing straight. Cant see any obvious signs of damage......bearing fail possibly? Might it be pads reverberating or CV joint on its way out (no signs of...
