sh*t! didnt realise they could do that - they are really bad, so i think im gonna keep it off the road till friday (the bloke keeps putting me off getting it sorted )
if they go into the back of the discs i presume that means you can swap discs and the bearing will stay where it is...
i am gonna uprate my brakes with the k-tec fast road discs (balanced, vented and cross-drilled) and kevlar pads. But i know there are problems replacing the standard discs with valver discs in that you need a new caliper - will i need a new one for the k-tec one?
well yeah it has got progressively worse, and the bodyshop who is replacing the lower arm+bush (i took it there coz i put the wheel into a kerb in the snow and put everything out of alignment :() reckons the rumbling sound that makes the clio sound like a jumbo crossed with a 5" big bore exhaust...

im on about £1200 in my 3rd year driving (2yr NCB) with 2 incidents and 3 SP friggin 30 points, thats with frizzell / liverpool victoria (im 19). some guy in the yellow pages (18-21 specialists) could do it cheaper, but he seemed TOO keen if you know what i mean for my business, i.e. wanting me...
no, just a deep socket will do! make sure you dont x-tread them when you put them back in, and tighten them firmly (to the right torque if you can) or they might decide to kamikaze out when youre driving!

i think he was probably lookign for the looks improvement more so than the stopping potential - thats why i was thinking of doing it, because drums look pig ugly!
myself i reckon it wouldnt look complete if only the front wings were done...but then youre making a pale impersonation of a valver if you do it all round! why not make it original with what youve got?
i have been thinking of doin this aswell, but after looking at the different components in the valver disc system, im not sure i can be bothered with it at the moment - you will def need the load sensor, and im not sure if the standard cylinder would be up to the job?
if you get figures then i...
