    Quaife / Gripper Diff

Re: Wanted: Quaife / Gripper Diff It was a couple of years ago I bought mine, I'm curious now so I'll try to dig out the invoice and see. That all makes sense about the drive, I always thought a quaife was fine for circut work but if you were rallying you needed a plate diff.

Really thinking of putting a Quaife diff on her next. Need info

As far as I remember the only thing that needed any sort of attention was the crownwheel, which had to go to Quaife to be machined I think. I forget the details, but apart from that everything else was standard parts.

For me Tony, it was the "fit and forget" element. I didn't want something that would need rebulding eventually.

I had my box treated by these when I had it done, I had the front rotors done at the same time too. http://www.frozensolid.co.uk/motorspo.htm The diff I bought straight from Quaife, but I can't remember how much it was I'm afraid. A good place for a rebuild seems to be the spot that...

    32gb Class 10 or class 6 for Cannon 550D?

You were quite lucky I'd say, there's loads of fakes on ebay. If they come in the proper retail packaging they're usually ok I think, avoid the ones in just a little plastic case.
