The initiall reason for bringing out an induction kit was demand for one by you lot out there, so you would have induction roar with a gain in performance. The gain in performance is due to a freear flowing air filter and the roar from not having a completely sealed box. Granted the hole at the...
The 172 mk2 is on fly by wire throttle and you do not always get the throttle butterfly fully open when you give full throttle on the pedal. The ecu controls your engine now not you.
The best way to work out your consumtion is. Fill the tank to the brim, reset your trip meter, drive the car as far as you dare on the tankfull, REFILL the tank to the brim again , look at your recipt or the petrol pump for amount of fuel you have put in and compare to the miles on your trip...
Rhys. I am sorry that you do not feel that you have gained any performance with our ind kit. When developing the kit we tried to protect the air filter from the hot air out of the radiator cooling unlike any of the kits that were available at the time also taking into account cost. When we ran...
All of our replacement chips for the Clio up to 1998 are £150.00 plus vat and have been since 1993. I feel that this is a fair price for the chip which will give gains of around 10%(as does the superchip) Their price for a chip to suit a car of this year used to be £165.00 plus fitting plus...

Bondy If you have had the cams timmed in at the Kent figure you will find the idle not to smooth Try retarding the inlet a couple of degrees and advancing the exhaust a couple. This will close down the valve overlap which can play havoc with the closed loop (lambda) system. You will loose out a...
The covers are approx £70.00 plus vat from Renault and come complete with the oil filler cover. We can supply a color code cover for any of the 172s Cup or otherwise on an exchange basis or outright. info@hillpower.co.uk
You may find if you have fitted the AVO supplied nuts to hold your springs in place that they are to big a diameter to fit inside the Renault to mount nut (which screws down when the shock is in place). Fitting the Renault nut should allow the top mount to screw down more.

We have seen many Clios and 19s with this fault and will preety much guarantee its your sppedo cable . Or more precicely the road speed sensor at the top of the cable , explanation . When you are driving your car and change gear, to avoid stalling the engine, road speed info is sent to the ecu...
We have fitted a set of 16v brakes to a 1.4 rt. The actual caliper is the same as a 16v if you have a Lucas Girling set up so you will not need to change the master cylinder as the piston displacements are the same . The only part you will have to change is the calliper mount, from the hub...
Let me make a few points clear to you all. We have indeed done a throttle body conversion for the Clio 16v. What we found during development was that the clio16v and williams have got to large an inlet port to produce good mid range and top end power. The gas speed in the manifoldis just not...
