182 (jc5-130) and 172 (jc5 129) both have the same spines and they can use the same drive shafts. 182 Cars have a different near side shaft becuase they have traction control. I used to have a 182 gearbox and 172 drive shafts so i know they fit.

The linkage could have moved since (not tightened properly) or the box oil is bad when cold. Ask them what brand of box oil they used - the jc5 has a specially designed oil for it.

Its a replacement backbox and is probably heavier than the standard one meaning the original mount cant cope and causes it to wobble. Its either that or they have not fitted it correctly.
