Mine has been doing this for a while now.
I've changed the bottom ball joints (they are the right 12mm ones)
Track rod ends were changed about 18 months ago
Switched my tyres over
Checked my front and rear shocks - both sets are fine
Tracking has been checked
I'm starting to think it might...
In the end I bought two new washers from Renault. That was like 2 years ago now, they're still working fine. Part of the problem for me was the fact my washer bottle was completely full of crap. I bleached/washed/pressure washed it out and it's been fine since. Dunno how the previous owner was...
Check the bolts that hold the ball joints to the arm, if they are 2mm bigger than the holes in your arms then you have the wrong ones. The end that attaches to the hub is the same size, so it won't be that.
Awesome. Well the car is now in at a local garage, since I'm at work and didn't want to drive it the 50 miles home with potentially snapped spring! I shall add more info soon as I have it. I'd change the spring myself if I still living with my parents and had access to a decent garage.

Any ideas? It passed it's MOT about three weeks ago without any issues what-so-ever and had two...
Just been out to the car on my lunch and it started first time and settled straight into a 800rpm idle. Even more odd. Do you reckon it could be Coolant Temperature Sensor?
I have a similar issue, I think mine might be TDC or Lambda. Maybe yours is the same issue, I've heard a lot of problems with engines not starting correctly with the TDC sensor.
Hi all,
Did a service on my 172 yesterday, replaced the oil, filter, air filter, cabin filter, ABS ring that was cracked, both ball joints, both track-rod ends, front discs and pads, a new CV boot and finally a new rear wiper.
This morning on my way to work she has developed a very lumpy idle...
You're basically leasing the phone any way under a contract. You're not paying the full amount up front for the phone. The only way you'll own it quickly outright is to do what I do, which is to buy it SIM-free.
