But you did everything possible to stop the rattles except filling it with lead right? Can you explain in more detail "adding an oring under the sleeve and applying a silicone layer between the shell and the shifter is the best" You need to dumb this down please :)
Mine is carbon, I dont think it could get any worse and I have the PMS dampener weight on the linkage, I do have semi solid engine and gear box mounts maybe thats why some people experience less vibrations?
If its a daily totally agree, but I rarely drive the clio and I cant be assed taking it off!
@Advikaz wait so even after filling it with lead shot its still to much ?
Is the bearing change actual worth doing, as I read somewhere it makes no difference, has any one just changed the bearing and found it dramatically quieted down the rattle?
"Rubber housing where the pivot ball sits inside" - whats this rubber boot called as I never bothered to fit mine as its all torn but want to now buy a new one and try this method of packing it with grease.

Bumping for more feedback, as I am also in the same position, did less then 200kms last year! really dont feel like changing these just for the lols! I was told the plastic pulleys are what fails on the timing side, is this true? Any one seen this?
Bump I have the same issue since fitting the PMS shifter, Any help guys? Mine jumps out of 2nd but only on the most lethal late braking / weight transfer around one corner at my local track, impossible to replicate on the street!
Bump, can I get an update on this as its driving me nuts! I spray Lithium grease in there and it goes away but then comes back, really want to at least peek in there and see whats what!

soo just fitted mine, took it for a spin and it rattled like a chain saw, came home fitted the dampener to where the kink is and it pretty much disappeared but can still hear it at around 6-7k, is it worth moving the dampener ?
Hey guys

they only have maybe 1000km on them, I installed them couple of months ago and had no problem, I had to remove the coilovers to have them modified to fit the roll correction kit on and figured easy just to remove the the coilover and top mount together. I did have a bit trouble when I put them...
Yep that’s how I set mine up too I think previously with out the top mounts we could only get 2.7 degrees camber with only the bolts but I believe extra castor would be more beneficial but like to know how much should we being aiming for?

Hey I’m buy no means an expert and rely on quality wheel alignment techs to get it done right, last setup was 3.3 degrees camber, 3 degrees caster, 0 toe, seem’d great at last track day but had a bridgecraft roll correction kit as well for the 1st time which transformed the car, should the top...
