182 with both cup packs is the best option. Cup pack 1 is uprated suspension and anthracite alloy wheels, Cup pack 2 is front splitter (usually missing) replacement from Skoda is £12 and a larger rear spoiler. You'll also get all the usual bits like climate control, auto xenons, auto wipers, cat...
Re: Cliosport Saturday - The Launch of a New Era - 30th July 2011
Perfect location as I work at the Gaydon site :) drop me a PM if you need any help with anything and I might be able to get you a few contacts. It would be good if we could get on the emissions circuit for a quick blast but...
I'd like to think it has a faulty solenoid but it's more likely to be a faulty finger that didn't press the lock button! However I'll do some testing later on and find out.
The car had to be unlocked to get into the drivers side though? Once inside she noticed stuff missing...
We've also had a lot of these sort of thefts over the last 4 weeks in the area.
The other halfs car (2003 Clio) got broken into over the weekend whilst it was parked on the drive. They took a phone charger and sat nav out the glovebox and had a good look through coats etc on the back seat.
When I checked the car over the only thing that was slightly damaged was the...
Dynamique has Electric windows, Auto light & wipers, Remote central locking etc It's a well equipped car for the money but the engine is very poor, I even find it struggles on the uphills on a motorway at 70!
Just looked into BTB's and it looks like you have to get one custom made for silly money!!!
Is the Janspeed the one that's on the ktec website? The tailpipes look pretty big how does it compare to this one size and sound wise? - http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2419&appid=2
I've done the loud exhaust thing on my previous car so I'm a bit over it now and fancy something more refined haha.
I've not looked into the BTB exhausts I'll take a look now, if they're are anything like the 106 ones they're pretty pricey!
I'm after an aftermarket exhaust for my 182 and I've done plenty of research but I'm still not sure what to go for? I want it to look as close to standard as possible and not be too loud and boomy.
I was swayed towards the RS192 exhaust but apparently it's a pain to fit however the sound...
Followed you in a White freelander for a while. Think you might be the person who works at Renault in leam? What exhaust are you running it sounded good!!
On a regular basis I use my car to carry around bikes. I'm wondering if a cover of some sort is available to protect the boot and back of seats when folded down? I could prbly get away with a rubber boot liner but the back of the seats is the main issue I suppose.
I'm open to any ideas and...
All the interior, engine, suspension in my old 106 rattled at some point but I don't think Bilstein shocks and Grp N bushes helped! The Clio has a couple of buzzing noises from the door cards but that's nothing I cant live with.
You'll easily pick up a 182 for 4k. Just make sure you drive a few so you get a feel for them. I was looking at a CTR or 182 and I'm glad I went for the 182, you get a lot more for your money!
Mines also like this sometimes. The cold weather doesn't help it and it could have a small amount of water in the backbox. When i searched for other threads on this it seems like its a common problem and highly unlikely it's HG failure.
Fitting a new backbox will rule out the water issue but...
I got my 182 off here recently after months of searching! I was setting my standards way too high for my budget. I ended up with the exact spec car I wanted from a very honest owner with fsh and a couple of marks on it. I'm very happy with it though as it has fsh and belt change was more...
Coming from driving a Peugeot I used to find the service box website very usefull for looking up part numbers. Do Renault have anything like that and can any body get access to it?
Thanks both, I'll get to work on it this evening in preperation for fitting tomorrow. I still need to remove the original screws from where the old splitter was!
I am in the process of breaking my old car, it's a pain in the arse! Ive still got a shell sat on the drive which I can't shift. I don't think I'll ever break a car for parts again it's a lot of hassle.
