Bump this thread, because its not really given any useful information yet (regarding tyres).
Has anyone run 205/40/16. Excessive tram-lining, crap ride?
Even considering the development costs, and the cost of making parts of a very limited edition?
Just look at the Buggati Vyron, its cost VW £million's to design and produce, yet they're selling each one £800k, which seems like a lot, but considering they're making a £5M loss on each one, its...
Before I changed my pads, my servo was changed and it didn't improve things, but I suspect that perhaps they didn't re-bleed the system properly and left air in the system.
Didn't know there was a dedicated V6 forum?
I had a mk1, not a million times different from the mk2. I think on a day-to-day basis it would cope with the mileage (especially the mk2 which has a more solid interior). Its unlikely to feel as quick as even a slow Evo, let alone a 330. I'd own...
True, but from a distance (especially on cars without projector lenses) its not exactly easy to see the difference.
By the time they're close-up, you can guess that most rust-buckets won't have xenons! ;) (not saying yours is!!!)
Guy, if the DS2500 is touching that lip, it will seriously effect braking performance. The easiest fix is to have the brake disc very lightly skimmed which will rid you of this.
So many people have these now!? I keep seeing blue lights (as blue as xenons) in the distance, so you play that game of 'guess the car' because you think it must be expensive. Turns out to be some old Fiesta instead. :rasp:
Never driven a trophy, but I do remember reading in Evo magazine that the Trophy is more capable. But they also said that due to its improved suspension, it didn't like to mess around in that exciting Clio fashion - something about the rear-end being more planted with less movement / twitchiness.
Well its an LCD/Plasma, so it'll do the 'P' bit. The res is 1280 x 768 (so its 720p compatible). To get it working, either change your monitor res to the above, or download a program called 'Powerstrip' (search in google, its free) which will force that resolution. Then you can simply run media...
I tried a couple of the HD clips last night, by connecting my laptop via VGA to the projector and using Powerstrip to create a custom res of 1280 x 720 - but the image wasn't centralised, and it looked 'scaled'. Any thoughts at what I'm doing wrong?
Even so, the clips still looked amazing ;)
I agree that 17's aren't suited to such a small, light car (don't think I'll comment on the bodykit idea lol). These deep dish type wheels look so much better in person than the photos can convey :approve:
I've got my xbox360 running analogue 720p to a Panasonic AE700.
Can't wait for HD-DVDs, really starting to notice the difference between xbox and DVD's.
