    Hdtv! :-d

1080 must look incredible on a small screen. I'm running 720p on a 110" screen and it looks pin sharp. Bimmer, thanks for the link, going to check out some of that material.

-60mm would look the nuts. Believe me :approve:

    Hdtv! :-d

I hope its not too pricey, I wanna be watching the World Cup in Hi-def! Sweeeeet! SyCD, you mentioned watching the Sony demo DVD, but if its a standard DVD player, how can it be hi-def?

    182 brake failure

The plastic rivet things just pull out (get angry on their ass) and the rest are all torx like you mentioned.

    MK2 172 with Rota Subzero 16" (5 quality pics)

Parcelforce's Salter scales weighed my 182 rim in at 10.2kg. Since that meant the difference between cheap and expensive postage (f$ckers!) I'm going to stick with it. Wheels look nice, although I think the car needs to be lower to carry them off - just a thought. What tyres are you running...

    182 aftermarket exhaust pics

I like the slash cut, but the way the exhaust tailpipe just finishes like that is a bit messy.

    182 brake failure

Justin, sounds like you've had the 'Renault experience', lol. If you stamp on the brakes at almost any speed in any conditions, the ABS should kick in. To fit the DS2500's, just file off the edge that sits against the caliper. Once you get the caliper flipped open you'll see what I mean...

Xenon headlight question for the masses

That's 2 months of solid night driving. Sounds about right for an older car. Hiya Gareth, how's the beemer otherwise? Chipped it yet? ;)

182 and 182 cup wheel differences

Apparently its hard to get the colour match right. Isn't that right Frederick?

What does that mean for us George? Can't race in certain events?

The official Yokohama Parada Spec-2 Thread...

Right, this tyre has been mentioned quite a lot on the forum, so hopefully we can collect some throughts on this tyre: How does it compare to other tyres you've used on your Clio / non-Clio? Do they wear any quicker? Road / Track environment? Are they noiser / quieter? How are they...

    Projector for Home Cinema

A lot of bo1locks in this thread. Projectors are easily as good as LCD/Plasma screens. Projectors are perfect for games consoles. Projectors will work in daylight situations. Projectors will give you a 100"+ screen. I have a Panasonic AE700 which is 720p and cost under 1k and...

I'm not even going to ask what noises you listen to!! ;) Some Merc's do have Becker HU's (Becker are owned by HK I think) as do a lot of prestige brands. This is a retail not OEM though :)

As I don't like jap headunits that stickout of the dash by about 2" too much, I have this... Haven't heard a better headunit yet :)

What mods have you regretted/changed and why? The best upgrades...

Naturally all my mods are good, or I wouldn't have done them ;) But if I had to list them in preference, this would be the order: Upgrade Stereo - yup, this sounds chavtastic, but I love music, and the setup I have is clearer and nearer true 'hifi' than almost any other I've heard (Becker...

    182 brake failure

Nooo! The DS2500's work perfectly from cold - don't let them fob you off with this. Some race pads (DS3000 I think?) work better when hot, but not the 2500's. Good luck in your quest, let us know how it goes.

Factory / Ideal Toe Settings for 182?

I installed H&R camber bolts yesterday. I suspect (obviously I'm lacking the appropriate equipment) that I was either running neutral or even positive camber since lowering the car on coilovers. The car was almost certainly toeing in as well. So now I've dialled-in around 1.5 degrees of...

    182 brake failure

I hate people like that, they'll tell you the earth's gravity is wierd in January, and its not actually the brakes fault at all. Tossers. Anyway, to be a bit more constructive...I had this problem too. Interestingly the braking was always much worse when the brakes were cold, so after 30 mins...

Factory / Ideal Toe Settings for 182?

    Perfect, just wanted to make sure 1.3' didn't mean 1.3 minutes and not 1.5 degrees....oh c'mon, I'm tired! ;)

Factory / Ideal Toe Settings for 182?

Thanks George, as always - very helpful :) Sorry for such an obvious question....but when you write 1.30' you're saying 1 degree + 30 mins? :o

    My f'kd b*tch

haha, when I first did it, my aircon relay popped loose - I was sitting there in my steamed up car thinking that something must be wrong!! The lump won't dissapear completely (unless you've got one big mofo hammer), so just get it a bit flatter. That point of the arch shouldn't cause you too...

Factory / Ideal Toe Settings for 182?

Will increased negative camber give you better turn-in than toeing out slighty?

Factory / Ideal Toe Settings for 182?

My car is virtually the same ride height difference front and back (lower, but equal), so the caster should be virtually the same as yours.
