JB1's definately do fit, with perhaps the exception of those used in the Mk1 Ph3 - those from Ph1 and Ph2 fit ok though.

Yeah thats what I had thought tbh and someone on another forum has confirmed that the R5 item is the same as the Mk1 clio. I think the Mk2 clio item is very similar but it seems that the bottom part of the gear linkage is a bit different.

lol, I was just about to reply and say your probably as well taking the engine out. Other option would have been to lower the subframe and remove it through the passenger wheel arch. Just don't take it out through the top as I did in the past and it was a right pain in the arse, lol.

Does anyone know if the short shifters for a Mk1 Clio would fit a Mk2 and vice versa? Its just to see if they are all the same. If possible pics of a Mk2 short shifter before its been fitted would be great as I already have some of a Mk1 to compare to. Cheers.
