Mine is not lowered on 16s and I get rubbing on right hand lock. It is the inside edge of the front of the wheel, that is rubbing against arch liner, bit between engine and wheels front inner edge. Take liners out or put up with it, thats all you can do. Alex M

MG Maestro, any of you remember the early 1600 one with twin webbers, surprisingly fast, very tunable and good on the road but god do they rot quickly. My first 5 cars (when i was between 16 and 18 years old))cost £100 or less, all pieces of crap, but I was smiling all the time. Alex M

You should not be bouncing your new car off the limiter when its barely run in (750 miles you said), I know the manufacturers recommend 500 miles but, you should wait a wee while yet IMHO Alex M

I need to RR mine also, although its difficult were I stay. Anybody find thier valver varies a bit. Somtimes my car goes sh*t hot and then other times it feels dead. Its better when engine is still fairly cool, which I probably blame on unshield piperX induction kit, but it varies a bit when hot...

Mine only really does it when car not in motion. Also sometimes there is a wee tiny bit of fluid sitting round cap. Think I might change fluid and put a seal as suggested round underside of cap. Will report back if any joy at silencing it. Alex M

My mates 309gti drops behind my clio but there aint a huge amount in it. So a 206 1.9 could be even closer or possibly slightly ahead. They handle amazing but definetly require more concentration and balls on the limit than a valver. So I reckon this race is entirely down to drivers ability...
