Think you might have to phone. If not motaquip definetly done for £20, I think that this mount is possibly shared with other lesser model clios (diesel perhaps) although im not certain. However I definetly know its not a dealer only part unlike the drivers side engine mount.

My mates 309gti drops behind my clio but there aint a huge amount in it. So a 206 1.9 could be even closer or possibly slightly ahead. They handle amazing but definetly require more concentration and balls on the limit than a valver. So I reckon this race is entirely down to drivers ability...

If I recall right, the dog bone can be got from andyspares quite cheaply, it is the top engine mount which is a renault only part. You are looking at something around the £20 mark for dogbone/gearbox lower link. The engine mount that has to come from reno is about £70, hope this helps you. Also...
Has the dash, and column surround ever been taken off, or something, cause that usually makes them rattle like hell. Try taking it off yourself and putting it back on and see if it makes any difference, get everything screw well tight.

Love Renaults but hate they way they are thrown together. Factory quality jumped in late 90s on but I aint seen a older reno not rattle a bit. However look after them and they go on and on, reno aint made a soft engine yet, they can all do the miles and take a thrash.

I suspect your only option would be to fork out for it as I cant remember ever seen one much cheaper than a 100 squid. Look a b**ch to fit, so let us know how you get on. Could take it off and take it to a back street auto electrician, sometime they have the diode pack/voltage regulator...
I reckon I could install a 2ltr into my clio, no bother. Got a big garage full of tools, and a whole childhood of whipping engines in and out of cars. Id also help anybody to do one.

Wonder if as a club we could find a job lot of megane 2ltr lumps or arrange a hefty discount for say buying ten at once, they would all go and it would be smiles all round

Yep track is wider on willys, the engine has (correct me if I am wrong anybody) slightly differing cam profile and obviously an extra 200cc give or take a few, think rest is cosmetic.
I have a 16v which I love, but if there is one thing i dislike about it is, it wont do piss all until it gets...
Are u sure the chip you got, definetly had a remap and limit change, where u get it from, also remember you can remap the ECU without needing to raise rpm limit, go back with it if not happy, watch them reprogram it.

I stay on a scottish isle and spares for cars can be difficult to find, and I know of several scrap lagunas I could get bits from, but cant remember seeing a single raidable megane, never mind a 2ltr one, I also have the only Clio 16v on island and there are no 172s or Willys.
