You have to get a jack under the bottom of the ball joint and jack it up to apply lots of pressure, thats the only way to stop it spinning.

Hm not that much over an overkill, worth the upgrade and you can normally pick up all the stuff pretty cheap! All you need is the calipers/brackets and they normally go on here pretty often for around £25/30 then some good pads (some greenstuff pads going on ebay at the mo which are excellent...

Valver box's are weaker than williams box's though, abused or not! Obviously if you don't abuse it, it will last longer, but then its not like you're driving a ickle 1.2 is it :p

Lol nothing is proper on my car, so turns out it was only 1 bonnet switch :( The switch was totally shagged, gone blue and corroded, sorted it out though... it was only 1 wire... is this right?

Nope, the extra 3 guages will light up if you plug them in, but you won't have the senders on your car so they won't actually do anything

Discs/pads easy to change, caliper isn't really difficult but they are always seized so getting the hoses off the pipes could be a problem as if its too seized you might bugger the pipe like I did! Also you'll need to bleed both sides obv

Probably can fit the bushes seperate but might need a press and it wud be loads more hassle than its worth, so just get a new wishbone they arent tht expensive!

Can you feel it through the pedal? can u describe the noise a bit better? is it a grinding or a knocking? does it get worse if u brake harder? does it sound like a loose bolt and is it only when braking u hear it? have u checked the 2 caliper bolts and the carrier bolts to make sure they aren't...
