Defo clutch cable mate, especially if you say its been recently done! Guarantee they used an after market one which are b****cks! Go to renault and get a genuine one, not very expensive b**ch to fit apparently but that should sort it out.

Just saw something called 'Scratch X' I think? and it looked pretty good? My car is covered in tiny swirl marks which I want to get rid of, whats the best product out there to get rid of them?

Do a search mate, but if I remember rightly 5.1 is over kill for road use, only point is if you're doing a lot of track days and using brakes excessively, also requires changing stupidly often...

Gd cause you don't want to be changing the matrix! most likely is the heater resistor then which is simple enough to change! or even just try wiggling it around, mine is a bit dodgy have to give it a nudge now and then for it 2 work again.

If they don't work at all then most likely is the resistor gone which is easy enough to replace as is the motor assembly. Could be the switch in the dash, which again isn't rocket science. If it works and doesn't blow very hot air... then ure fucked :p

Could be the baffles (sp?) in the cat? that causes that kind of noise...

Could try Renault as they would know which size it is but afaik they charge an arm and a leg but worth trying otherwise you might get the wrong size... Im sure they are universal and normally cost fck all but you'd have to know which size you want obv

Where have the inch wholes come from? Shouldn't really be any damage, disk might be dented but hardly expensive...

nope just get a tite as fck grip on it with the mole grips undo, screw it out then screw new 1 in, make sure u get the new 1 first though ;)

Pair of mole grips, take it out put a new one in, jobs a gd un.

I think I had a jack on the corner of the rubber and compressed it that way so I could get a nut on enough? fck knows how renault do it ^^ I think haynes says 'refitting is reverse of removal' :rolleyes:

When I did this on the valver it was a complete c**t! had to use a jack to compress it enough to get the nut on, is a basterd.

You can pick up columns pretty cheap just change it over? No point botching it as it isnt a difficult thing to take out/weld or jus replace.

Tbh I know someone who had their car cloned... granted they could go down the street and start taking pictures, but why bother if they are already all over the web...

Has to be welded mate, not that hard and tbh might as well take the column out to do a proper job isn't difficult to do.

Take it you have an open type torsion bar so there is one on each side which meet in the middle? If so then im pretty sure that u cant take one out to knock the other through as there isn't a whole. U tried using a stud extractor etc to drill the bolt out?

How big is the tank on a ph1 valver? think my aux pump is getting knackered after too much use hehe

^^ Thats not meant as a dig but in turbo terms it would be slow.

You wouldn't see much gains and it would cost ££££ also ud look like a rite tit because you 'd rev the b****cks off it and get ure dump valver noise but u would have hardly moved because it would still be slow! So people would probably think you have a fake dump valve cause your car is so slow...

renault 19 16v will fit as will williams but alot more expensive. look in the for sale section http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=214633 winston has a few going.
