There are about 200 pics on the card so I have waited a while as even though it says "insert disc" the cursor behind stays in "hourglass" mode. I'm thinking perhaps because there are alot of pics on there its taking a while but after 10 mins nothing changes.
no such luck. Why do these f**king things always have to be so long winded!! All I want to do is look at some bloody photo's!!!!!!!
It doesn't even acknowledge its there now, I have to manually go into my computer double click e drive but it just gives me back "insert disc" Thanks for your...
All is says is
1) Close all windows
2) Plug the card reader into USB Port
3) Once the computer has located (which is just says for a few seconds in the bottom right) and loaded software... Now what software? Only comes with the card reader and USB wire, then it says insert card and double click...
I can't seem to get it working, card is in reader is connected to e or f drive and everytime I click on the relevant drive (e or f) it asks me to "insert disc"...????? Well the disc/card is inserted so I'm confused.
Anyone used one of these before? I want to get my pics up on here.
Try phoning Jim at Immediate on 020 8205 2255 they do alot with Norwich Union so get decent prices. I'm 30 and paid £700 fully comp on a 172 cup with business mileage and mrs on there, 8 years n/c. I reckon on a 172 you might get around £1,200..ish
Nice to talk to you briefly mate! I was well shocked seeing you, don't see many in Central London until on my way out parked up on the side where the mosque is near Regents Park was an Arctic Blue 182.
Nob182, your car looked mint mate!:D
I went slowly up a steep drive today and scraped the little black/grey trim, 2 of the screws have come loose but everything I try doesn't work, seems to be a star type shape tool required.... Is this some kind of Renault ploy to make me take the car to them or am I missing something?

About 5.30pm this evening, by Mcdonalds half a mile before Hilton Roundabout in Bushey/Watford.
I was heading South. First was a lady driver then like 200 metres later a bloke in same 182 in Silver. Bloke looked at me but we were going too fast combined for thumbs up...
Anyone on here?
My 172cup is surprisingly solid for its weight on motorways. One of the first things I done was test at high speed on M25 and having had for example both Corsa sri and gsi before my lighter cup deals MUCH better with the wind.
Was originally pondering on an upgrade to a V6 but due to kids and occasionally needing back seats have had to switch my attention to a 182 cup.
I really like the light blue with white stripes and dont think i'll be able to resist!
Apart from the looks incl alloys etc...what are other...
oh yeah and where do you get a top up on the white powder (whatever its called) that is stored within the fire extinguisher? Mine went off a few weeks ago as I took a corner when something slid into it.....
I'm after the passenger side air bag key that wasn't with the car when bought and also the "7" and "2" tiny yellow badges on one side of the car as they have disappeared...
Any ideas where I can get?
That above was for Frazerscup, sorry...
Gazcaddy performance test results :-
0-60 Cooper is 7.8, 197 came in at 7.5 (see what I mean Frazer - cup comes in around 6.5)
30-70 through the gears cooper does it in 6.5 secs, 197 takes 7.3 secs which is the main reason why they put the Cooper S...
A cup would beat a cooper s, not sure why you struggled against it - what were you carrying?
Ive had 2 gos and won both. Stats also back it up, cant remeber off hand figures but remember thinking they were close but 0-60 and top end were in favour of cup.
Read with interest the Sept edition of "What Car" and they put a Seat, Polo GTI, Cooper S and the 197 up against each other.
The Cooper and 197 scored 4 out of 5, the Seat 3 and the Polo 2.
Cooper won it though due to the lack of pull in the 197 at low revs. Decent write up though. Noticed...
