due 600 for belts dephaser because the previous owner got the timing done by a steamed walnut who didnt have a f**king clue what he was doing.
as above, you can hear a light grinding from the rear and when moving very slowly, the car will bring itsself to a stop a fair amount faster than a rolling stop.
any ideas?

after having a gander, the mani is mighty close to the heat shield, possibly fouling at 3k rpm?, and the cat + middle silencer are bowed as if to say engine mounts are shagged? anyone?
my original thought was water pump but it doesnt seem to be coming from there... gonna check all pulleys in reach for play...
anybody know any specialists on the isle of wight, rentech are just over the water but £40 is the most expensive 10 mile journey going :@

i didnt know esp was plug and play? what about the yaw rate sensors, steering angle sensors and wheel speed sensors? they wouldnt be there is not utilised? go for a drive on a wet day and understeer, if your dash lights up like a fairy you know you have esp... albeit its b****cks on short...
if your going to use lemforder, be aware the shouldered m10 for the pinchbolt is made from cheese. rough as f**k threads. DONT run it on dry, use a light loctite like 270 or 238 or similar to stop the bugger binding when tightening

in the bag containing pinch and mounting bolts, there is a white plastic washer with 2 paralell flats, what is it?
