Add about another hundred quid of labour on your cambelt change, plus cost of cams plus mapping and that gives you an idea...

Was there for about 2 1/2 hours, car was on dyno for about an hour or so, matt had a basic base map for a 182 with 428's so was able to load that and it gave about 188 Bhp, he then fiddled and tweaked the fuelling etc to 193 :)

Cheers matt was dead pleased, really didn't expect that much, thought 190 would have been a struggle! Matt was impressed with the car, no knock detected at all, and runs really well, ripe for SC or ITB's.... Twingors you are defo the winner lol good guess!

    Cat-cam 428's Results

I have had the Cat-cam 428's fitted in my car last week at 519 Automotive and am off to see Matt at Tour De Force for live mapping tomorrow! 3 weeks ago on the TDF rollers my car did: 179.9 Bhp & 160.4 lb ft So what you guessing at?? Im hoping for 190 what you reckon? :approve:

    Cat D write off?

That's quite deer for a cat d mate
  18. Dave.

    upper and lower inlet manifolds.

Try searching fella but yes they will fit straight on and you will notice a difference especially if you have non "rs" stamped inlets. A remap would be a good idea once you have done induction and exhaust mods

Beg borrow etc And get the varley sorted IMO unless you want your head stoves in. Any other idea sounds like a half measure and still dangerous

    Pre/Post ITB Graphs

Was thinking the same should be nearer 30bhp....

    after a new loud exhaust.

id really recommend a piper 182 system, great quality, and lovely noise, it is v loud without the cat in tho

mate its really worth fitting a varley red top or similar, much smaller and easy to mount, sort you r battery issues right out! For harness mounting points go to msar's website and have a look, you'll find a good way of securing the harnesses safely on there mate

looking really good now mate, was disappointed you didn't bring it down to TDF the other week! and even more disappointed the AM didn't get a go! Are you running cams in yours at the mo?

Hi newbie, how reliable is a high miler Clio 182?

mines just turned 74k and at a recent rolling road day beat a 197, and most others! its all about the service history, mines got full history with rentech and i think it shows

If your still getting knocking id bet you the gearbox mount needs tightening a bit mate, pull the battery out and tighten it I'm sure that will sort it mate

    Wheel Sealant

I don't rate it mate and the AG stuff in a can is just as bad, need to find something better myself
  28. Dave.

    Powerflex dogbone fitted....

The only thing that rattled in mine was if I had anything in the dash and you get quite a bit of resonance through the gear lever, but it goes leaving a lovely crisp gear change and no more manifold headbutting subframe!
  29. Dave.

    Powerflex dogbone fitted....

It does def subside after a while, mines been done bout 3 weeks and is still slightly noticeable but much better than to start with
