Hahaha, legends.
I'm a geek tho.. :p
Edit: ah, they're using XP with the Olive Green Style.. thought they might at least be using Debian with Fluxbox or something ;)
I hated my HTC Touch.. had it 4 months before I got rid.. horrible.
Don't take my timescales as right tho mate :p
You could buy it and a new one be out next month, haha.
Apple were hiring Activesync Engineers before Christmas though, so it's definetely promising.
Don't get a BlackBerry, get a Windows Mobile phone. :p
(or a phone with Activesync at least!)
I'd imagine July is Rev2 iPhone time.. (USA), so maybe November for us?
Big numbers sell internet connections unfortunately.
No way will they be able to come even close to the connection speeds they are offering, charging what they do, without going out of business. (which is why it's much slower than they advertise ;))
OEM should be preinstalled.. so you shouldn't be able to "reinstall" as such.
It's down to the original manufacturer to supply 32bit or 64bit in that case.
Microsoft might be going a bit silly, cus' that link says retail only.. maybe you got lucky? Or they don't care anymore, haha.
I spent £1500 on a Macbook Pro, because it looked nice..
I then sold it for £600 (no seriously, I lost £900 in a year), and bought a Dell D420, again because it looks nice, but also much more functional for my needs :p
So, buy what you want, and what will suit you more.
2GB is the key.
I've sold so many laptops with Vista now, and the ones with 2GB (or 4GB) were fine.. the ones with 1GB stupidly sluggish.
My laptop with 1GB was slow, went back to XP and it was rapid. Got 2GB in it now, with staying with XP until Vista has SP1 integrated into the install...
Nothing else can open a .pub file, apart from Microsoft Publisher.
You can convert them to another format though..

Looks like one tool.
I hate the way they've changed some stuff, when nothing was wrong with the way they were done in XP.
But, I hated XP when it came out, now I reckon it's probably the best desktop OS out there.. *shrug*
It's just getting used to it :)
